Party Poker - Bad Beat Jackpot over $810,000

Tags: bad beat jackpot, party poker, poker.
Posted on 24 February 2011 by "M".

bbParty Poker's Bad Beat Jackpot is now over $810,000 and still increasing. Normally, the Bad Beat Jackpot seldom gets over $400,000 before some "lucky" unlucky player claims it.

In order to qualify for party Poker's Bad Beat Jackpot, you will have to be seated around a Bad Beat Cash Tables and be so unlucky that you actually lose a hand holding at least four of a kind in 8's.
The jackpot amount that is paid out will be split; 50% to the "loser", 25% to the winner of the hand and 25% to the other players who were involved in the hand.

Party Poker collects $0.5 from the pot of every raked hand that is played on their Bad Beat Jackpot tables. This adds approximately $1,000 to the jackpot every hour.

" before some "lucky" unlucky player claims it. "
Hahaha, great line. The biggest badbeat jackpot was 1.2 million if I remember correctly. On CarbonPoker I think.

I saw that today too on Party Poker, what an insane amount of money for the "unlucky" player. Even 888's Royal Jackpot was up around $85,000 earlier in the week, and is now slightly diminished around $75,000. That is pretty good by Royal Jackpot standards.

pretty nice jackpot...nothing's better than that. holding quads waiting for a bad beat.if you don't get beat, you'll just have to 'settle' with what you can get with quads Smile

Recently there have been some bad beat jackpot claims, and this motivates players to continue pushing their best hands till the showdown. I don't know what kind of blinds are involved in this tables, but, eventhough, i think its a good bet for those who really trust their game to play on.
