A massive $270,00 Bad Beat Jackpot was awarded on Tuesday (February 11th) at Horseshoe Cincinnati's World Series of Poker room in Cincinnati, Ohio. Gary Costa (right side of the dealer in the picture) had his four of a kind 7's beaten by Michael Humphreys's (left side of the dealer) jack-high straight flush.

Record Bad Beat Jackpot at Caesars Windsor

There's a six-figure jackpot up for grabs at Caesars Windsor (one of four casinos in the Detroit-Windsor area) at the moment. The bad beat jackpot in the poker room surpassed $207,000 last night, which means that it's the highest level it has reached since the casino started offering it in 2008.

$1 Million Bad Beat Jackpot Awarded on Merge Network

Two days ago, some lucky players at a $1/$2 Limit Hold'em table got to share a bad beat jackpot of amazing $1 million on the Merge Gaming Network (Carbon Poker etc). Seventy percent of the jackpot was distributed to the table. The one who lost the hand, "Eulson", received amazing $355k, the winner of the hand, "123maryc", received over $177k, and the remaining players at the table got more than $25,000 each.

Party Poker - Bad Beat Jackpot over $810,000

bbParty Poker's Bad Beat Jackpot is now over $810,000 and still increasing. Normally, the Bad Beat Jackpot seldom gets over $400,000 before some "lucky" unlucky player claims it.

In order to qualify for party Poker's Bad Beat Jackpot, you will have to be seated around a Bad Beat Cash Tables and be so unlucky that you actually lose a hand holding at least four of a kind in 8's.
The jackpot amount that is paid out will be split; 50% to the "loser", 25% to the winner of the hand and 25% to the other players who were involved in the hand.

Party Poker collects $0.5 from the pot of every raked hand that is played on their Bad Beat Jackpot tables. This adds approximately $1,000 to the jackpot every hour.
