For quite some time the Canadian PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu has been talking about whether or not he should take on Viktor "Isildur1" Blom in PokerStars SuperStar Showdown. Now, after something that has felt like a never-ending wait, it's finally official that there will be a game between these poker giants!
The challenge
will be played 2 Sundays this month; March 20 and 27th at 15:00 ET. Both players will bring a bankroll of $150,000 and sit down at 4 $50/$100 No Limit Holdem tables and play 2,5000 hands - or until someone has lost the entire bankroll.
This will for sure be 2 heads-up matches to remember for a long time! Viktor Blom has lost a lot of money lately and he badly needs to win some cash now. Daniel Negreanu, on the other hand has been playing very well lately and he just finished in 37th place in The Big Event Main Event. Nagreanu has also been seen playing multiple NLH tables at the lower stakes at PokerStars lately. A clear sign that he's preparing for the challenge against Viktor Blom, who many claim is the best NLH heads-up player in the world.
