Last night the NAPT Mohegan Sun final table was played! 8 players of 387 made it to the final table and in the lead was young gun Tyler Kenney (Bryn Kenney's brother) and in second place defending champion & Team PokerStars Pro Vanessa Selbst. After hours of play, Tyler Kenney had been knocked-out in 3rd place, which left Dan Shak and Vanessa Selbst playing heads-up.

Even though Shak had a 3-1 chip lead, he still he couldn't stop Selbst from taking down her second NAPT Mohegan Sun title! Part from the impressing back-to-back title she also received the first place prize of $450,000. Below are the final table results.

1. Vanessa Selbst, $450 000
2. Dan Shak, $254 000
3. Tyler Kenney, $170 000
4. Thomas Hoglund Jr, $120 000
5. Vincent Rubianes, $90 000
6. Joe Tehan, $70 000
7. Aaron Overton, $50 000
8. Steve O'Dwyer, $32 330

Congratulations to her. Hanging the same title for two years is not for all! I bet she has done great work in that final heads up. He should be any amateur to get to the final two with an advantage of 3-1 chips, but he couldnt handle against such pro. It would be nice to know some hands history, i guess in that final hand Shak should already be very low in stack.

Definitely a Selbst fan! Love watching her play on High Stakes and continuing to escalate upward in the poker world. While on interview last night on ClubWPT she stated she is still continuing to pursue her Law Schooling thougfh! Very interesting young lady! Think she'll be here a while!
