Yesterday Full Tilt Poker revealed in a press release that its former pro Gus Hansen will be the first ambassador when the site re-launch on November 6, 2012. This is what Hansen had to say about his return to Full Tilt Poker.

"I'm very excited to represent the industry's most authentic poker brand," Hansen said in a press release. "Full Tilt Poker has the best games, most innovative software and the strongest poker community; to me this feels like coming home."

"Gus is one of the best-known and most respected names in the poker community," said Sarne Lightman, the newly-appointed Head of Marketing at Full Tilt Poker. "Gus has always embodied the best characteristics of the Full Tilt Poker brand and we are thrilled to have him return as an ambassador."

Glad Gus Hansen is back and Full Tilt as well.
Can't wait for it to come back. I agree as i already mentioned their software is one of the best if not top. Fast, reliable forcing plenty of action.
Can't wait till November... Hope many other former players will share same opinion and forget about "bad" times.

It would be interesting to get an idea of how many former players (pro or amateur) are going to return but that'll obviously be quite hard. I'll be back for sure, full tilt was always my favourite poker room, and lightning can't strike twice, surely!

Gus Hansen the latest brand ambassador for Full Tilt :"I really want to be a part of restoring the brand and helping the new management establish Full Tilt Poker as a leader again. And most of all, I'm really looking forward to playing on the site again."

Interesting move for pokerstars, well full tilt poker now, i think their action was pretty good considering that us it's an awesome player plus he also used to play on the old ftp...

More than that he was never involved from what i remember in any ftp money scandal so far.

I'll certainly be returning... I loved FullTilt. I never had any problems withdrawing, so I've got no beef with them.

...They certainly screwed the Americans though.

ayaraled pointed out very well that gus hansen and full tilt poker fits one another very well. he represents the brand in the way platform owners probably want it to see- loose and aggressive, this generates action, and action generates rake! anyway i liked full tilt and can't wait to have a go there once again

Nice appointment....bring on November 6 when we can all start making our lives more fun and entertaining through a new Full Tilt poker site. Will be interesting to see what promos they get going to drag everyone back.
