Faraz Jaka, who lead the way into 3 day, is once again back in the lead as Day 4 of the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure main event has come to an end with 24 remaining players. Faraz turned his 1,22 million stack into a monstrous 4,1 million stack during Day 4 - about 1,4 million more chips than his closest opponent Alex Fritzgerald.
Unfortunately Team PokerStars Pro Berry Greenstein was knocked out in 25th place for $46k. This was far from the first time that "The Robin Hood of Poker" went deep in a major tournament but missed out on the big cash. We can only wish him better luck next time.
The tournament is now only 1 day away from the final table where some amazing cash prizes are up for grabs. The winner will get stunning 2,000,000 USD, and the second place finisher will get 1,275,000 USD. Even the 3rd prize of $755k could be a very good first place prize in any major poker tournament.
It will be interesting to see how Day 5 goes. The big favorite to reach the final table with a big stack is of course Jaka Faraz. Another player that would be nice to see on the final table is Xuan Liu, who has the chance to go deeper in the PCA main event than any other women done before. Liu will bring just about a 1 million chips to Day 5, so she needs to switch to the top gear if she wanna get that achievement.
We will return with an update as soon as Day 5 comes to an end. Stay tuned!
