The 2012 Turbo Championship of Online Poker is now in the books as all 50 events have found their winners. Yesterday, the main event (Event #49) was played and not less than 3667 players took part in this event, which created a prize pool of $2,4 million! A player called "Betudontbet", from Mexico, won and received $382,855! Chris "ImDaNuts" Oliver , who finished 2nd in PCA last year, came second and got $285,310.

Another exciting tournament that was played yesterday was the $2100 High Roller event. Icallany, from norway, took home this event and received amazing $210,070. But still he received less than the runner-up, AlexKP, because of a deal the last 4 players agreed on. The other 2 players received about $170k each.

It's interesting how short and uneventful these reports are.. It would be really good if these beaters took their time to write up better stories...

Nice prizes and very big fields at TCOOP this year, Pokerstars must be delighted with these results. Money attracts money and the bigger the fields, the bigger the prizes. With the number of online players increasing, TCOOP is just an example of what can happen to other tourneys: there are millions of dollars in prizes everywhere.

I'm curious to find out if any mobsters participate and won something on these events, considering the large numbers of players that are on pokerstars i presume we were represented...

I wanted to participate in the PLO event but i sticked to my A game, cash games.

so jokerstars/rivestars had another great series organized- and decently attended i guess- since this was turbo/super turbo series i guess there were enough suck-outs to fill another spot in Guinness book of world records. anyway nice to see them organising something new- let's hope the same attitude is gonna be kept throughout the year
