Street Sweeper found Duhamel's WSOP Bracelet!

In December last year the 2010 WSOP Champion Jonathan Duhamel was attacked in his home in Boucherville, Quebec by two masked men who got away with his  2010 WSOP Bracelet, a Rolex watch and some cash. It didn't take long before Duhamel's Ex girlfriend Bianca Rojas-Latraverse, 20, and 3 men were arrested by the police for involvement in the home invasion.

Shortly after the Rolex watch was found and returned to Duhamel, however, the bracelet, which is estimated to be be worth around $40,000, wasn't found and Duhamel even offered a reward of up to $10,000 to the one who could give information on where the bracelet was kept. 

 

Last Wednesday, over 2 months after the home invasion, a street sweeper in Montreal was cleaning the Ville-Marie Tunnel and found the bracelet in a trash receptacle. The bracelet was in bad condition but at least some of the jewels were still on it. According to a French poker site, Duhamel is very happy to finally have gotten his WSOP Bracelet back. The WSOP crew has now promised him a replacement of the damaged bracelet.

Nice reward for the street sweeper. But this can turn bad for him. I bet he will be interrogated and investigated for having found this. After all, it is easy to find reasons in a street sweeper to make him wanting something like this. Who can confirm that this wasn’t just a scheme to receive some more money? They wouldn’t be able to sell it in the black market because they would immediately be arrested. So, at least, if they found a good plan, they could try to win something with it. And this could have been a great plan. Don’t have nothing against street sweepers and I think it is an honorable profession just like any other, but cops may want to put an eye on this.

nice go from duhamel- the bracelet estimated worth about 40K and him being such a wise guy offers 10K for the info where to find it. really great offer- lmfao, if i would find it i guess the better option would be to sell it on ebay lol stating "i found duhamel's bracelet- since he offers only 10K and i think it's worth much more- i am gonna sell to the highest bidder (police, please do not bid)"

Great to hear that this story has a good finale in the end, and those that did this are behind bars!

well a few years ago i worked by for the city off my home town,if you knew what people (when they get there vacation money in May )trow away,so i found 1 time 675 FL in that time whe had not the euro,i found it in the centrum area,he lost it i think,i dont give it to police so they can keep it self?i found at that 30 ercsin sm phones,but 2 former colleaqe's found in a suitcase €30,000 ,-
cash,and coz they didn't trust eachotter to gave it back to the cops,IF YOU LOST 30K THEN YOU HAVE MOREXOZ NO 1 DID REPORT MISSING OFF THE 30,000€URO'S !!! Confused

Wow! That's something else. Actually makes you wonder why or how it would end up in a trash recepticle, then to be found in such a place. So did he pay the $10,000.00 reward or was this just some nice guy returning the bracelet? I do think it's great that the WSOP board is going to replace it. I kinda of thought they should even if it wasn't located.

That is very good news to read that the bad guys are behind bars and will stay there for a long time, they need to replace the bracelet for because it is not his fault.
