Posted on 22 August 2014 by "T".

On Thursday, a massive field of 475 players went to Casino Barcelona to participate in Day 1A of the 2014 European Poker Tour Main Event! After eight 75-minute levels of play, the tournament director called it a day and Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi bagged up the largest stack (186,600) amongst the 279 survivors.

According to PokerStarsBlog, Mizrachi doubled up almost right away when Day 1A kicked off and he was involved in lots of pots, with success, throughout the day. The fact is that he never was out of the top three players in the poker room from start to finish. "The Grinder" will now have one day of rest before Day 2 kicks off!

Some other big names that made it through Day 1A:

Johnny Lodden - 89,500
Pierre Neuville - 82,300
Thor Hansen - 77,400
Dan Shak - 61,200
Eugene Katchalov - 22,600
David Vamplew - 19,400
Fabian Quoss - 13,900
Erik Seidel - 12,300

A much larger field is expected to show up at Casino Barcelona today for Day 1B, so expect nothing less than another thrilling, action-packed day of poker! We will be back with another update on Monday morning. Have a great weekend and don't forget to check out the live stream below!

...demodawggy,....'Tha Dawg'.... after 4 rounds of play in the PokerStars EPTLive promotional freerolls,...is severely getting his A$$ chewed off, only raking in a paltry $0.27 after 4 days of intense play amongst all the facebook freerollin' cockroaches with multiple accounts infesting and running amock....!

Big Smile Thumbs Up Dollar Dollar Dollar

Anybody else playing and succeeding in those...?

Can't remember the last time i read about this player here at BRM because of playing but it's good to know he's doing well at EPT. And the luck really looks on his side, winning most of all the big pots he gets in. If one like him enters a big pot with many opponents of course he believes it's to win, but there's never total sure before seing the first table cards. Sometimes we just need to have that feeling that things will really happen. Good vibrations!
