The Cash Game Leaderboards at partypoker are changing from weekly to daily starting June 15 - that's still more than $1 million awarded every month!
When compared to other rivals, partypoker offers the highest monthly prize pools for cash game players, but now they have decided to switch to Daily payouts, as they are aware that not everyone can dedicate a full week of grinding cash games because most lead busy lives. Thus, switching to Daily payouts gives you, their valued players, a shot at some prize money because you no longer have to play for 7 consecutive days just to be qualified in their leaderboards. Furthermore, some of the lower stakes leaderboards now pay more places than before ($0.01/$0.02 now pays 75-places, for example), allowing partypoker to give more back to more players!
The leaderboard prizes are still big, with daily top prizes of $1,200 up for grabs.
The new daily format brings cash games in line with their SPINS Leaderboards and SNG Leaderboards. Both were proven to have become very popular since moving to daily payouts, therefore they expect the Cash Game Leaderboards to equally well received.
The New Cash Game Leaderboards
There are still 16 Cash Game Leaderboards, 8 for No-Limit Hold'em and 8 for Pot-Limit Omaha. Play their traditional cash games or fastforward and you earn 1 Leaderboard Point for every $1 you contribute to the rake.
Combine all the prizes from the 16 leaderboards and it sums up to an incredible $36,206, which is awarded every single day! This equates to $1,086,180 per 30-day month and $1,122,386 per 31-day month!
The new Daily Leaderboards run from 00:00 CET through to 23:59 CET before resetting for the next day's action. The very first daily Cash Game Leaderboards began on 00:00 CET on Monday, June 15, 2020.
