Both starting days at the 2014 World Poker Tour Bay 101 Shooting Star have come to a close and, believe it or not, a new record has been set! A total of 713 players bought into tournament (crushing last year's record of 643 players), making it the largest Bay 101 Shooting Star in WPT History!

Josh Pollock Wins Event #22: $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha
This event concluded after three relatively quicks days of play with Josh Pollock as the champion. The 29-year-old from Silver Spring, Maryland bested a field of 1,021 players and defeated no one else than Noah Schwartz heads-up to win his first gold bracelet and a sweet $279,431 (the biggest cash of his entire career!).

2012 WSOP: Former "November Nine" Finalist Wins Event #27: H.O.R.S.E.

The former chess master and poker pro Ylon Schwartz won his first World Series of Poker gold bracelet last Saturday! He topped a field of nearly 900 players in the $1,500 buy-in H.O.R.S.E. tournament and received $267,081 in prize money!

Schwartz has now earned over $4,4 million (23 cashes) in the past six years at the World Series of Poker. Most of his WSOP earnings come from when he finished 4th in the 2008 Main Event and received mind-blowing $3,774,974 in prize money.
