Man! That sounds really unhealthy! And by the way....you look really OLD on your picture to be only 28.... I´d cut down on that "water" thingy... like TODAY!
I find Tea and weed works best for me, not much weed.. perhaps a joint every couple of hours. Though I think it's imperative to have a good supply of fresh air and to smoke outside or out a window, make me feel less tired from it.
I usually play between 4 - 8 tables at a time also, though I'm an MTT player and I need to, otherwise the first couple of hours of an MTT are just too boring.

Just thought id pop some names in here with things they claim have helped, or at least things they have done..
Paul Phillips - Adderall and Provigil Stu Ungar - cocaine Scotty Nguyen - alcohol Phil Hellmuth - ego Phil ivey - I want to know, but that man never blinks... Johnny Chan - an Orange....hmm not blue James McManus - cholesterol medication and anti-depressants Carter King - pot
There are many many more Pros who have or do use some sort of drug, and now with lots of us playing behind a scree its a lot eaiser to do.
For me I see poker more as a math and memory game, I use lots of notes for players, but do lose concentration after long sessions and my end game in tourns does suffer, im going to keep a can of red-bull in the fridge from now on.
Hi all! According to an American university's study not only the first-class sportsmen, but between the poker ones frequent, that their performance tries to be increased with drugs during card-playing.That the physical sports making they handle drug-taking increasingly more more frequently, not recent topic, fewer words fall however from that direction, that in the poker world can be experienced the phenomenon. One a yes was made recently according to a study tall the number of those poker ones, who with various drugs, for example with cocaine, with marijuana, valium, amphetamine, you are with other illegal implements spin (up) from day to day their sessions.

Hahaha . . . I've been waiting for this thread, and very nice job making it survery style. Anyways, the only drugs I've done besides tobacco (when I smoke blunts mostly)/nicotine (like 12 cigarettes in my life) and alcohol (like 25 times in my life) are marijuana, aderral (just twice, both for school), salvia (like 25 times, just like alcohol) and LSD (just once . . . WHOAAAAA ). As for during poker, when playing live, maybe only a few drags of a nice cigar (f**k cigarettes) to get comfortable after playing for a few hours (if I'm gonna put in an all-nighter LOL) or a small, half-blunt (gotti) of marijuana. Too much weed always ends in a poker superman/paranoid schizo outcome for me, because I only play cash games live, and as you NLH players know every hand, especially with drunk maniacs, can be a rocky road.
Online is a pretty different scenario. I can usually get STONED and still manage to win playing 2, maybe 3 real money cash game tables. 4, which I can handle well if sober, is too much. I usually try to be COMPLETELY sober for tourneys, which I only play online, because of the need to gradually shift gears, and think critically. That's why I only play tourneys online right now; I just don't have the mental toughness to handle the bubble play without showing it on my face. I usually never try to use tobacco before playing online, because I multi-table (cash games and tourneys) and I feel like I need to be more alert, than if I were at a casino, playing one table at most and needing to worry about both physical and poker table image, not just the latter with playing online (FTWLOL ).

Aimed at me midnight1954? Did you read what I have posted? I guess not, well I make it short for you, I dont use any drugs. This thred is for talking about the use of drugs and outher stimulents in poker, not for name calling.
You will find tha drugs are also used for many medical problems and save lives. your ignorance only brings shame on yourself.

The fact is that this thread is not for calling people crooks and low life, if she is judging him like that due to him taking drugs then I guess the whole of Holland is full of crooks and low life...in fact a huge percentage of the world, alcohol is still a drug and IMO actually worse than pot, but this is going OT. Her response is not in relation to the topic of the thread, just a nasty ignorant dig.
