I cant understand why somebody need drugs,not just in poker,in his life,what do you have from that to smoke marijuana,take cocaine or something else!like you would be better person with that!alcohol and cigarettes in my life and thats all!for me only idiots can take drugs!

I also agree with you but if u are going to say that alcohol is not worse than abit of green then you are wrong,if they knew back then what they know now about alcohol and all the misery it leads to ,many people killed,stabbed ,etc,then i would guarantee you they would never legalise it and marijuana is legal in certain countries whereas alcohol isnt so its an ongoing argument that will be here long after we are gone,you before me because your an alkie,lol

OMG energy drink is a drug? Have not knew this and I do not think that poker +drug is good .. maybe when you are playing for fun micro stakes .. but I think no ;]

BRADYboy ofcourse I know that alcohol can be big problem,but didnt say that I am drunk every day,just write that I drink alcohol!and when you are junkie you need drugs every day and I dont need alcohol every day (but I know that many people are drunk every day)!I drink when we celebrate something,friends birthday.....but just want to say that this 2 things are enough for me,dont need f.... drugs!
yes I like my drink and sure the fools and youngsters cant handle it and run about fighting and making fools of themselfs, and this gives the amber nectar a bad name ,pity them, however the money from sales of alcohol gos to the goverment in tax , were does the money from the sale of drugs go,,,, sure I havnt got a problem with people getting ripped if they want to, even if it does mean with the likes of heroin and coke they become dysfunctional that is there choice, alcohol kills more people than drugs so I have been told, but it does not line the pockets of criminals thieves and cutthroats, thats all I am saying,, get ripped if u want but be aware of the fact that at the end of the chain it is criminals and people who would cut your throat for a dollar and dont know the meaning of honest work who profit for your high,,,I will admit that in my younger days I did dabble in most forms of mental enhancement, however I feel that as I have exspirienced this form of mental enhancement I can say,, leave it alone , wont do you any good in the long run, I am sure some way down the line you will mark my words and agree with what I say, if not fine I care not a jot, be high , let your spirit be free,, I am as liberal, and altruistic as I can be,, enjoy just be careful, anyway most forms of drug,, alcohol,,whatever the name, is but an escape from or an amplification of the reality we exsist in ,, hmmmmmm,,,,right am away to pour a nice long cold martini,,, martini,, just like me any place any time anywhere,, you might be to young to remember that advert for martini, it was some time ago,,lol,

DULE-VU,i said it tongue in cheek as you see with the smiley and you are saying these2things are enough for u and u dont need fn drugs but alcohol is a drug,far worse than a smoke of weed,if by smoking weed everyday u are saying that makes a junkie then i have to disagree with u.I would rather smoke weed than drink alcohol but thats just me. If you read my threads i say i wouldnt recommend drugs but i smoke weed and u drink so thats still drugs and alcohol causes far more misery to people through allsorts of stuff like murders,stabbings,etc,domestics,young girls getting raped all because theyre steaming drunk and cant remember much or the opposite,girls acting like slags because theyre drunk and wake up next day ashamed and heavily embarassed with their actions,some end up pregnant,etc,etc it costs the government a fortune trying to get enough police and courts 2deal with it all,what does weed do apart from make u happy and maybe abit hungry,not saying it doesnt have some probs with ppl and i have seen the effects of alcohol,my grandad died from it and its the worse fkn thing iv seen,i have yet to hear of s1 die from weed and if you where in certain countries you will not get booze and vice versa! @midnight,i do agree with most of what u say but theres plenty people selling booze and cigs,tobacco for cheaper prices than the shops over here and i know plenty normal mums and dads go in and buy 200 fags or a bottle of vodka from the person and its all because its cheaper,do u then worry about whose pockets your lining when you can get it cheaper from a friend of a friend and im not sticking up for people who sell drugs but you cant even compare heroin,cocaine or any other drug to a bit of weed,thats all im saying!

I never took anything. I think it is better to play without drugs. When I drank and I played it always lost everything ://// So I advise against this practice.

He yes interesting thread. I can't see alcohol, coke, meth and stuff like that improve your game. I think when you have to spend more than half a day behind you pc playing poker, i can understand that some people use something. Not to improve your game but because sitting still for such a long time can be a drag, even with poker. The only substances i ever used during poker would be coca cola and (sry i live in the Netherlands) sometimes marijuana. But really very seldom cause here in Holland its so normal you don't feel the need to. As u can get it everywhere( even in small villages) no one feels tempted to 'the forbidden' like in most countries were its ilegal. Sry no funny or embaressing stories

See this is a very old post, but it surfaced and I have to reply. I'm a big energy drink fan and if it was legal I would like to smoke the good green. Every year when I would go to France for work I'd make a trip north to Amsterdam. I really enjoyed the various types of marijuana the Dutch cultivate. Due to the urinalysis at work I don't risk taking a chance to smoke. I don't stereotype anyone for what they do though, it's how people treat eachother that counts. Good Luck to All

I fully agree with you on that last sentence, Green. And yes there are various choices here. Nice of you to visit us, a lot, really alot of people do that for same reasons. What line of work are you in, getting urinanalysis? Offcourse no matter what, never worth a risk

When I used to go to Europe I was a Quality manager for an Aluminum Foundry / Machine Shop that made automotive parts. My customer was Renault in Leon, France. I'd go there for an anuual visit. Then after a day at the facility I'd catch a train or plane to Amsterdam. Visiting my favorite places like the Grasshopper, Bulldog, Dahdamkrieng, Sensi Seed Bank and before Nevel got rich I used to talk with him. I'm still a Quality Manager, but for a diffrent corporation so no Euro trips, but I will be back. Used to stay at the Victoria (I believe that was the name). always smoke weed and play poker helps wit the mind numbing bordom used to kill the coke but now i replaced it with coffee coke just to expensive out in my hood 100 bucks a g f that only get 3 4 lines out of that
