Any thread can be funny and its discussing only the matter of thread. Some people brings here the frustations of life and starts to change the meaning of the object. If i wanted to make a religious thread i would making one asking each religion we believe, i just asked if people what people thinks about religious avatars and if they can be considered in the same way as the ones inciting violence. Next time ill make a thread about pigs dedicated to the jessypig.
yes , I am not coming between you two , am enjoying watching you both slinging mud, but I think you should retire from the afray , your post on avatars which led to the holy war was well off base, if people wish to use religious or any other symbol as an avatar I see no problem , if that is the poker or forum site allows it, if an avatar upsets you so much I can only wonder how strong your faith is? I mean an image is surely not enough to damage faith or belief in something or someone is it ? and surely any image or avatar would only promote violence or disbelief in the weak of mind or those already non-believers or bigots, surely the posts you have recieved have reinforced this? also a thread on pigs might not be that bad they are very intelligent creatures.
