Dan Stacey wins UKIPT Isle of Man

ukiptThe United Kingom & Ireland Poker Tour stopped by Isle of Man between the 1st and 4th of October. UK's Dan Stacey took home the first prize of £24,170 after just 8 hours at the final table. The runner up was Paren Arzoomanian who offered Stacey an "even chop deal" which guaranteed both players £19,000 and left £5,170 to battle for. Stacey accepted and Arzoomanian was  defeted after the +4 hour long heads-up. Arzoomanian was holding a straight in the final hand but Stacey hit his full house on the river.

Alan Gold Wins Full Tilt Poker UKIPT Galaway Main Event ($187,494)

A big congratulations to Alan Gold of Scotland, the champion of the Full Tilt Poker UK and Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT) Galway Main Event! Gold, who qualified for the event through a satellite at Full Tilt Poker, brought the largest stack to the final table, which was played yesterday, and it only took about four hours of play until he was the last man standing. It was one of the fastest final tables in UKIPT history.

Onchan, Isle of Man – June 26, 2013 – In addition to guaranteeing a massive UKIPT Galway Main Event prize pool of €1,000,000, Full Tilt Poker is giving players the opportunity to win a spot in at least eight further UKIPT Main Events with its Last Longer Sponsorship promotion. The all-access pass includes buy-ins and expenses for every remaining stop on the UKIPT Season 4 tour and is only available to players who win their UKIPT Galway Main Event entry via Full Tilt Poker’s online qualifier tournaments.

The prize package will be won by the player that outlasts all other Full Tilt Poker qualifiers in the UKIPT Galway Main Event and will be awarded in addition to whatever prize money they win in the tournament itself.

EPT London: UKIPT London Champion Leads The Way To Day 2!

The two starting days of the European Poker Tour London Main Event are in the history books. 131 of 236 players made it through Day 1A and 225 of 411 survived Day 1B. The overall chip leader is no one else than Sergio Aido, of Spain, with 215,200 chips - about 50k more than his closest opponents.

EPT London Champ David Vamplew wins UKIPT Champions event

David Vamplew has done it again. The night after his amazing EPT London Main Event win (won heads-up against poker legend John Juanda), he defeated 8 UKIPT winners from season one and he's now the champion of PokerStars UK & Ireland Poker Tour Champion of Champions Event. For the win he received an entry to the next season of UIKPT.

These are players he had to defeat to become the Champion of UIKPT Chmpions event. Padraig Parkinson (UKIPT Galway winner), Joeri Zandvliet (Manchester), Gilles Augustus (Coventry), Andy Couldridge (Nottingham), Femi Fakinle (Killarney), Jamie Burland (Brighton), Nick Risk (Edinburgh) and Max Silver (Dublin).
