Macau Casino Revenue Down 97% in June |

This year, revenues from gambling in Macau declined every month, as a bleak result from the devastating effects of the worldwide novel coronavirus pandemic.
The figures showing the monthly gross gaming revenue (GGR) of Macau, according to the DICJ (Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau) are as follows: January revenue was down by 11.3%, February 87.8%, March 79.7%, April 96.8%, May 93.2%, and June 97%.
So far, June has become the lowest revenue figure and biggest year-on-year decline in a year of historic lows in Macau, lower than April's MOP754m (£76m/€87m/$95m) and ruining the slight recovery experienced in May when revenue increased to MOP1.76bn (£178m/€198m/$221m).
It also marked the 3rd consecutive month in which gambling revenue has declined by more than 90% year-on-year.
For the first 6 months of this year, the drop was HK$33.7m, compared with HK$149.5m.
The stringent restrictions, which require visitors to quarantine for 14 days upon arrival and upon return on crossing the border from mainland China, are the main cause of the continuous straight drop in revenues, as the battle against Covid-19 ensues with very adverse consequences.
Macau's economy, known for being heavily dependent on taxes coming from gambling, tourism and retail businesses, has been seriously affected by the impact of the coronavirus.
The forecast is for Macau GGR in July to drop by 80% and for the entire year by 46%.

You don't understand what i want to say. The pharmaceutical industries are criminal in these days. When we buy something good, must to go on natural products or from well-known old manufacturers. I don't want to give a names, but see this case of Bill Gates with African vaccinations where over 500.000 children died.

So many businesses have closed , some open with restrictions , many of them have lost or still losing many profits , they are forced to decrease the salary of their workers , or even worse , to close for ever ... Adaptation is the key always so as to survive in such times , foresight and adaptation , or else hope and tissues ...
Hope everything goes better in the future , or else worse things will come for players and employees , a vaccine to be found soon is a necessity , or governments to stop obvious exaggeratons with some crazy restrictions ...

It is important that you realize that people make cancer, diabetes etc..., they do not think logically and after that u will realize that i am right. Many medications destroy neurons and because of the serious side effects they cause major health problems. Covid 19 is another planetary danger for compulsory vaccination in many countries. I don´t know every measure of care that the different governments are taken, but the most important in everywhere is the social distance, the mask and the wear and shoes care when you return to your house. When the virus is active in society the only way to make a good distance is the isolation. Where is the crazy thing?

maragatero , why some countries haven't imposed restrictions , or they have imposed very few , and yet the number of cases are not very high , es[ecially in comparison to countries that have taken measures for this virus ??
If the situation was so serious , they should have 1.000 times more dead , not just 4 , 5 or 10 times more , sometimes they might have less than some countries . If it was so dangerous virus , the countries without good restrictions , should have been ''out of the map'' , their population should have been annihilated , you get the picture ??
Still , no , life goes on , can you see it or not???
I talk about crazy exaggerations , not about the need to take some protection measures  When the other is very aggressive and undue without so good reason , you know sth else also happens and takes place . The restrictions come because of the taxes that some governments charge. Poker rooms, casinos, sports bookmakers and other games of chance will be stopped if they do not pay. Who will comply will still have an operating license.

Someone makes rigorous isolation, someone only tries to keep safe to the risk groups...everybody take some measure. If I read correctly , countries that didn't take measures at the beginning , or took a few later only , or didn;t take at all any measured did and do exist Countries like Sweden , or Belarus ,at least at the beginning they didn't have many measures , peopel were free to move , complete isolation was not forced on their residents , maragatero , of you see their cases of COVID virus , you see it's not 1.000 or 1.000.000 times more ,, it'sjust 1.5 , 2 or 5-10 more patients , still most of them old ones .
Normal if people get in touch and close one to the other

| This is a lost case, I will not insist to discuss it. You have an idea, that I think that is wrong. Not a big problem, we can have a lot of difference in sport or religion, but about the covid the difference has a link with death and that is very distressing. I only wish that you can keep safe. Until now, a lot of countries where the virus hadn't arrived, but that changes. In Sweden are repentant of the soft measure that they takes, because now they have thousand of dies more than their neighborhoods.

Great businesses , like the very big casinos , can stand and get out of this crisis in the end , work again . But the smaller businesses , such as the very small poker rooms or casinos ?? Will they be able to get back on their feet and work again , have profits again ??Or will they close for ever ?? in every country small business in in problem and I think that on autumn there will be even in bigger problems!people just dont want to spend money right now,because they dont know what will happen to them in next months and how much money they will need or they will lose jobs!
just to say about romania,just watching news how bad situation is in that country,they had 889 people with corona yesterday,I think even some dead and doctors say that they dont have enough bads in hospitals!that say all about thing in romania!

Employees are the first true victims in this lockdown , this totalal isoletions and closure of so many businesses . Players will play again live sometime , most casinos , especially the ones owned by powerfull very rich men , like Seldon  , will open and work again , and if they close again for some time , they will reopen again But employees who lose their job permantly have consequences to deal with , especially if they are not young fellows , doing it for some extra income , but older people , with families , with needs , with health problems ....

This isolation , in this total form and condition , was not a good idea , by all means , It showed the powerof governments and strong peopleto do whatever they want , also all of them in complete solidarity , one mouth one mind in this decision and this situation , lol . The system is powerfull , in a totalitarian way of thinking , lol . Exaggerations did happen , they have to admit . They will admit it , unfortunatelly only when this crisis is finally over .

| Isolation in real danger is adequate and governments must provide money for citizens and they must pay bills, cover rest of spendings and to sit quietly in their homes. In covid 19 situation was a very large disorientation which ended in a forced dictatorship...
