Do you think 2 years is a reasonable time frame for this challenge

I see ronin you are running hot. You had the best possible start and already made a god profit in just one day. If you can keep the same pace, in like a month you will have 700 + That makes your goal achievable and in a very short time. Good luck with the rest of your grinding.
Well I know there is a way that I could copy a poker session and then post it to be watched. However I really have no idea how to do it. I wish I did know how too. If anyone can teach me how to tape my session to replay later I would be willing to do so.
Now for the BIG question of... "What is your nickname over Party POKER?"
I have never before given this information out to anyone online. I guess it is really not that big a secret. Yet I am very reluctant to answer. Give me a couple days to really think it over and then I will give you some kind of answer. Sorry to seem like I got something to hide but I am superstitions about people knowing my online account names. I know it seems stupid to many but it could give someone unwanted information about me which could help them defeat me at the tables. Be cool

I really do not understand your minding. If you can tape a session and let it watch would have the same information that you dont want peoples to see. Also in the tape everybody will see your poker name. With the number ofpeoples playing on Party Poker you will see the same players every day and they also will see you and know how you are playing.

I don't think its stupid....I'm the same paranoid as you about my online informations (maybe am a bit more ). I don't want people may discover my several "online identities" I use online...merge them together and have a sort of dossier of my digital life.
Back to topic.....You may do your challenge in six month imho with some intence pokerplaying and a bit of luck as well

fcuk those 2 year challenges, if it can't be done in 2 hands or 2 hours at most it's not a challenge... still looking at your start, it's pretty evident that you know what you're doing at the tables and there is no need to spend time under the tables whatsoever. hope you can keep up the pace.

@ronin only way to post your session is to record it and than post it... you can do live stream with delay on twich, or you can record with some programs you may find it on google and post it to youtube, or if you have teamwiever you can set up meeting where you be playing and people that you gived password and allowed them in meeting can watch you live

Well I have some bad news. Last night I played a 3 hour session which proved to be very costly. I had been doing so well I guess I was feeling cocky, so I tried to step up early. My starting bankroll was $108.60 so I decided to take a shot at moving up levels. Well I lost just over 2 buy ins.
My new current bankroll is $85.69
Yes I have dropped back down to the lower limit to rebuild my bankroll. No once I rebuild back up I will not take another shot at moving up until I reach $150. Going back to my original play. No more super aggressive play through the levels just to try and move up faster. Today I will only be able to play 2 sessions if I am lucky. Too much going on today. It will be a rebuilding day. be cool

I told you to move to NL10 only when you have at least 200$ on your roll, that roll could take some swings... but ok, do what you think is best for you, and i hope you will recover your loss in no time I assume you r playing NL5 2 tables or 4?

------------ G'day mates
Just finished my 2nd session today and it is another positive finish. Started with $102.14 and finished with $106.57 I have not quite rebuilt from my loses from last nights attempted level increase but I am pleased with the days results overall. I might be able to play one more session today as well. It would be great to finish the day above yesterday high before my fail attempt.

Just finished my 3rd session today and it was fantastic. Started with $106.57 and dropped a buyin almost immediately, but I got the money in good then suffered a BS loss, it actually made me laugh. After that everything just seemed to go my way for the rest of the session. I have completely rebuilt my bankroll and reach a really great new high point in the challenge. I might even play a 4th session today as well. I will finish the day above yesterday's high even despite my failed attempt to move up in stakes.

Good going Ronin, keep up the good work. Your bound to have the odd down swing. Just keep positive and you should do well. Good luck on your future sessions.

When you keep getting good results you cant stop from playing. You always finish a session but after a while a new one starts. Your progress is steady going upwards. You are getting closed to you first goal and a cash out. Keep the same rhythm.

Just finished my 3rd session today and it was a nightmare right from the start. I had my pocket Aces broke twice. Once my Aces were broke by an Ace 2 when he hit a 2 on the flop and then one the river. Then I had my pocket Ace broke by pocket Aces when 4 spades hit the board and of course I did not have the damned ace of spades. I just kept losing hand after hand for 3 hours on 4 tables. It is a miracle I did not lose even more of my bankroll.
Started with $160.59 and finished with $144.87
Current bankroll is ... $144.87

------------ G'day mates
Well I just played my 4th session of the day and I have rebuilt my bankroll back up to $153.00. I would have like to played more but there just is not enough players to even fill a table. I started the session with $144.87 and finished with $153.00

bad session it seems , having your aces cracked but still going on a profit ups and downs happen in poker you just need the big jump , a great session where you double your bankroll are you focusing on cash games , because maybe give the small buy-in tournaments a try or maybe sit and go anyway keep us updated , if this challenge last 2 years , this thread gonna be the one with the most posts in bankrollmob good luck in this amazing journey

Well it is day 5 of the Ascension Challenge at I was stupid and fell over a cliff. My bankroll took a $125 hit during a 3 hour long session. The tumble left me tilting on the side of the mountain about to fall to my death below. Luckily I was clinging to a ledge and was able to hang there to catch my breath. I took a break got my head right again and took it out of my a$$. I had to look honestly at my new bankroll of $57.18 I took a break four an hour and have rebuilt my bankroll back up to just $74.84 it is now day 6 of the challenge and my 1st session allowed me to claw my way back up to my new current level of 74.84 I have to just grind it out again to rebuild and set aside all worries about trying to build the amount fast. I need to concentrate of just having good profitable small sessions and stop thinking about making large cash gains. I was trying to make to much to fast and moved up to NL50 without the bankroll to be there and it has cost me dearly. NO more chasing fast cash! Just slow and steady upward grinding again is what I MUST do.
The current bankroll is now... 74.84
will update later in the day after a session of two.
