Day 1 in the WSOPE Event #3, £5,000 Pot Limit Omaha ended a few days ago. Only 45 out of the 165 players survived the day.

One of the first players out were Gus Hansen. Also french player David Benyamine and last years Main Event winner from Norway, Anette Obrestad, were busted out during the 8 hours of play at day one.

Day 2 which ended yesterday brings the amount of players down to 9 and we therefor have a final table for later today with danish player Theo Jørgensen as chipleader.

Iikka Koskinen called a preflop raise from Theo Jørgensen. The flop came 8Heart 7Heart 3Diamond and both players checked. Turn showed JClub, Koskinen made a bet and Jørgensen raised him. Koskinen decided to go all-in with Jørgensen calling him afterwards showing up JSpade 9Spade 9Club 8Club, two pairs. At this time Koskinen was leading with AClub JHeart THeart 9Diamond, a nut straight and an inside straight flush draw. The river came JDiamond and gave a full house for Theo Jørgensen and Iikka Koskinen finished 10th as the "bubble boy", taking home a prize of £18,562.

With Theo Jørgensen being the chipleader, the final table looks like this:

Seat 1: Erik Friberg - 189,000
Seat 2: David Penly - 162,000
Seat 3: Jason Mercier - 650,000
Seat 4: Sorel Mizzi - 290,000
Seat 5: Tomi Nyback - 434,000
Seat 6: Theo Jørgensen - 897,000
Seat 7: Max Pescatori - 126,000
Seat 8: Eric Dalby - 277,000
Seat 9: Chris Ferguson - 282,000

Tuff task. He is one of the short stacks. If you look at the chip counts Joergensen and Mercier are the favorites.
