Poker legend Amarillo Slim, 83, has been in the hospital since Monday evening. According to one news site, his health has been fading lately, and he doesn't have much time left. In fact, doctors didn't think he would survive the first night in the hospital.
Amarillo Slim, whose real name is Thomas Austin Preston Jr, has won the World Series of Poker 4 times and is well-known rounder from the old days - when poker players used to get robbed and sometimes even get killed for their profession.
