On Sunday, the final table of the 2013 European Poker Tour Monaco Grand Final Main Event concluded with Steve O'Dwyer taking down the tournament for €1,224,000 and an exclusive Slyde watch after defeating Andrew Pantling heads-up.

O'Dwyer has reached several EPT final tables in the past few years but this was his first win. It must have felt extra good for him to lay hands on the first EPT title on such a tough final table (just have a look at the results below and you understand what we are talking about).

I think that those money tranformed in us dollars is well over 1.5 million dollars which is pretty sick considering the buy in was 13k us dollars.

Nice takings for the top 5 and good to see Negreanu in there. It's hard to believe how rapidly the money drops off after 1st and 2nd place though. Although I'd be happy with any of the final tables winnings! LOL
