Welcome mobsters, if you are reading this blog for the very first time, I thank you for your initial interest. I think that if you give it a little time, you will find something that will peak your interest.

Blog post - A new beginning and a fresh start.
I now have a new internet service provider.
I am once again able to log onto my favorite websites and surf the internet.

Weeks without the internet or at least any reliable internet can really try a person's patience. I did not realize just how totally addicted to the internet I was until I could not use it for a few days which then became weeks.

I am now once again able to get online and what a wonderful thing it is.

My current internet provider is my landlord. The building I live in is completely wired with fiber optic cable line and the build has its own network set up. The landlord offered me unlimited upload and download for just $30 a month. It is a $64 a month savings which I immediately put towards paying my power bill. Basically I just got an extra $64 a month to work with.

So my new internet means an entirely fresh start as far as I am concerned. I have just made a deposit into my Pokerstars account. The new bankroll is a new beginning and I plan to grind it up.

My goal for poker right now is to make $150 a month which works out to just $5 a day. I know I am very capable of doing this once I reach the 0.5/0.10 NL Tables. It will just require I put in the required amount of volume.

I will keep you updated. So until next time.
Wishing you all the best.
Be cool.
Ronin

I must agree with you about how dependant we are on the internet. I was without the internet for about a week over Christmas and i was totally lost and dont want to go through that again

Changing ISP is not an easy task especially if you live in a country where the companies cut up the market between themselves and there are complete districts where you cannot choose a a better priced one then you already have. Thank God that Canada is not one of them. Good to have you back - online.

G'day mate

I hear you there amigo.
It is good that we still have a few choices let to us in Canada.
I love this country.
I love the freedoms we used to have, and the ones they still let us think we have. Smile
the new ISP has some reliability issues but the are still working out the kinks so I am being patient.

Yeah, I hope it will work out for you on a long run so you didn't go offline three weeks again. But the thing I described above is mine - I cannot go with fibreoptic or any nice sausage like that, 'cuz the ISPs made a deal in our district - all I could got is some unlimited ADSL with 10 Mbit/s download speed. Which is okay for the usage I generate or my needs but I feel a bit betrayed...
