Sexton finished Day 4 by eliminating Day 3 chip leader Samuel Gagnon in seventh place to take the chip lead.
Gagnon moved all in for 1.375 million holding 1010, Sexton called with JJ. The board of K928Q awarded Sexton the pot and Gagnon was eliminated in seventh place for CAD $67,790 ($40,343).
