Pokerstars' ambassador Daniel Negreanu shall be attending to help raise money for the Folded Flag Foundation, a non-profit organization geared towards helping families of fallen soldiers, as an emcee to their charity poker tournament scheduled on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at 1pm PT in Los Angeles.
The Folded Flag Foundation's Mission is to help provide ‘education scholarships and support grants to the spouses and children of the United States military and government personnel who died as a result of hostile action or in an accident related to U.S. combat operations.' Donations are used to provide financial assistance to families of deceased military to aid with living and educational expenses.
Joining Negreanu at the charity event will be other great poker names such as Adam Levy, Lacey Jones, Joe Stapleton and Todd Brunson.
The emerging winner of the $400 buy-in tournament to be held at the Andaz West Hollywood Hotel shall get a seat in the 2018 WSOP Main Event plus a special prize to play against none other than Kid Poker himself heads-up for a private poker lesson. The top six finishers shall get to take home cash payouts. There are add-ons and rebuys available for $200, and whoever rebuys the most shall also receive a special prize.
At the end of event at 5pm, attendees shall be treated to a reception featuring a silent auction, pen bar, hors d'oeuvres, and casino games - all for just $195.
