Partypoker has appointed John Duthie as president of partypoker LIVE. Duthie has signed a five-year deal with partypoker, who is actually the founder and former CEO of the European Poker Tour (EPT).

In a press release, Duthie said, "I have been impressed with the progress of partypoker and in particular the number of trusted, experienced and well respected individuals and organizations who have chosen to put their support behind the partypoker brand.
