The 2014 World Championship of Online Poker (Sep. 7 - Sep. 28) kicks off on Sunday on PokerStars. A massive $40,000,000 guaranteed prize pool is spread across 66 exciting events, available in a wide variety of games, with buy-ins ranging from $109 to $10,300!

In case you missed it, the schedule for the 2015 Aussie Millions (part of the Asia Pacific Poker Tour) has now been released. Not much has changed since last time and PokerStars will be the main sponsor of the Main Event once again. Crown's 2015 Aussie Millions Poker Championship begins on January 14 with the opening event and concludes on February 2. In total, there are 21 separate events with buy-ins ranging from AUD$1,150 to AUD$250,000!
PokerStars has launched a new promotion where one can get to play poker's biggest names for $1,000,000 on television! The Shark Cage is a new TV show where world-known poker professionals, Team PokerStars Pro and a few "lucky" PokerStars qualifiers will compete in eight heats (will be filmed at EPT events). Each heat will see five poker pros and one online qualifier battle it out for a seat in the final, will be played at EPT London, where the winner will take home $1,000,000 (winner takes all). On November 4th the long-awaited Autumn $1 Million ($1,000,000 guaranteed) will be played on Party Poker. The tournament kicks off at 13:30 ET and the buy-in will be $600 + $40. The EMOP (European Masters of Poker) Dublin Main Event has come to an end. It ended up being Soren Larsen, from Denmark, who took down the tournament and the first prize of €71,210. Not less than 4 Irishmen made it to the final table and Dara O'Kearney was the one of them who survived the longest. O'Kearney received €42,720 for the runner-up finish.
