The final table of Event #57: The Big One for One Drop ($1,000,000 buy-in) is set after two days of intensive play! Day 2 began with 31 players and Sam Trickett out in front. After 13 hours of poker action, Rick Salmon (FILM PRODUCER, ACTOR, TELEVISION PRODUCER, ENTREPRENEUR, PROFESSIONAL POKER PLAYER) bagged up the largest stack (23,575,000 chips) amongst the nine survivors.
It's not only in Paris that poker stars are battling it out for some serious cash. On Monday, the 2013 World Poker Tour Alpha8 kicked off in London at the luxurious Palm Beach on Mayfair venue. The £100,000 buy-in tournament attracted 10 players spread across two tables at the beginning of Day 1 and ended with 19 entries.
PokerStars Caribbean Adventure $25k High Roller attracted 204 entries (44 rebuys). After 2 days of play, the field has now been reduced to 8 players, who will battle it out on tonight's final table - where a $1.4 million first place prize is up for grabs!
The chip leader is Shaun Deeb (picture) with 2,535,000 - almost 1 million more than his closest opponent. Deeb will be joined by the likes of Team PokerStars Pro Vanessa Selbst, Tobias Reinkeimer from Germany, and Canadian poker pro Michael "SirWatts" Watson, who won over $2 million dollars at live tournaments last year. The final table will be broadcasted (1 hour delay) tonight at 20:00 CET (14:00 ET).
