How often an American makes a bad beat on a European in the Sunday Million. Looks like they rather see Americans win who are probably the worst players around except 2 of them. I always look at the FT replay you see the Americans on the final table get pocket after pocket AK AQ AJ KQ when the much better european players get only 27 36 49 etc. And suckouts they always like to make more often than other worldcitizens.
------------ So online poker isnt rigged the Americans are
They usually are rigged! Stuff that happens online would never, ever happen at a table. I have been playing poker for way too long to realize that. Fortunately (for me), I stopped playing for cash online. I don't understand why people are looking for ways to prove they are not rigged. Wake up! They are!
On the other hand, I have no idea how Full Tilt can get positive reviews. It is a joke of the poker world. I guess the only way they stay in spotlight is to pay pros to advertise with the money they make from the poor guys online.
I had to be disappointed of course already... Careful everybody!

You're a lying a-hole. I played live for years before moving online. And I can promise everyone you see EXACTLY the same s**t happen live. Fact is there are only 52 cards in the deck, nothing is that unlikely.
Thats what he says juicy hands + juicy flop ...in a cash game that equals rake!!!!!!that equals more money for the site!!
------------ I have played many hours on many sites , and to be honest the two largest have the most suspicious patterns , crazy bad beats, and FT. does seem to favour drawing hands so his juicy holecard juicy flop comment holds true for me. So from a cash game point of veiw of course dealing lots of playable hands makes sense.. Ive talked about this with many different players (long before this blog)some friends some not and they all have the same or very similar stories to what this BOB guy is claiming Coincidence? Variance? Conspiracy? Paranoia? Who really knows ? we'll all keep playing anyway cos we love the game! If and when USA changes its gambling laws and poker sites could be based there and truly regulated then we would know for sure which to play and which to avoid
The question, 'is online poker rigged?' all too often crops up on poker forums, blogs and discussions, especially when so many people experience almost unbelievable bad beats and suck outs. Obviously, there has to be an explanation to the record number of bad beats one will witness in online poker.
There certainly is an explanation for it, although some may say well, that's poker, or there are too many donkeys or they played bad, the truth of the matter is that it has nothing to do with the other players! The real secret behind the large number of bad beats and suck outs in online poker lies within the online poker software used to generate the cards.
In reality, the answer to 'is online poker rigged' is without a doubt, YES! However, it is not rigged in the manner you may think. It is rigged in the sense that fair play, statistical odds, and a true-to-life outcome is realistically stripped away from the program due to the algorithms used by the poker sites.
These algorithms will determine the outcome of winning hands and force certain players to win while other players lose even though they had the best hand preflop or on the turn. The algorithms and subroutines used by all major poker sites create the problems of overwhelming bad beats and suckouts in an attempt to make the game appear realistic, to induce action, and to give the impression the game is fair to all.
Of course, this may all sound confusing, however, it is the way the poker sites are rigged to produce winning hands and it is an indisputable fact. The secret to winning at an online poker site is knowing the algorithm and then using that to your advantage to give yourself an edge in the game.
The bottom line is simply that internet poker sites are a computer generated program. Moreover, that program can be manipulated by anyone who knows the code of the subroutines and algorithms. There is no live interaction in the shuffle, deal, or outcome of the cards, and therefore the question is online poker rigged, invariably has to be answered YES!

Glad there are many who believe this, didn't expect so much votes for yes on the poll.

Iam not sure if online poker is rigged or not. I talk by my experience playing online poker, and what iam sure is that something is weird when iam a new player and make a deposit in some site, and from nothing i start runing hot for lçike 4 or 5 days, and suddenly i start to miss the draws, i start to lose sets vs straight made in the river. Something is weird about poker when your new player and you almost hit every flop. Iam not saying online poker is rigged, iam just saying that there is somethnig that is not well explained to the players. Recently i made a new poker account to play sngs on pokerstars. In the first 50 tournments my roi was 98, suddenly i passed 75 tournments only having suckouts, missing all the draws when i was clearly favourite, shoving KK (sb) when the BB had AA (3 times). Stuff like this doesnt happen very often to experienced players. In 75 tournments my roi passed from 98 to -23 (finished like 7 or 8 in 19 position in 180 player). This week everything got to normal and in 22 tournments my roi is already positive again. Nonsense things happen in online poker, if its rigged??? i dont know for sure, but one thing iam sure, new players always get lucky run for few days.

ive played the lottery every week since it started and ive never won it,must be be my age postcode or shoes i wear cos there are people that do win ti and live great lives because of it so it must be rigged for me never to win.also i went to bingo with the wife a few times and guess what whenever i needed one number to win the house it never came but it seemed the regular players there won more than me.this of course is nothing to do with the amount of times they go or how much the odds drop for them to be successful but was everything to do with the number i wanted not being in the machine for it to be drawn.its rigged.i think my sister rigged the swingball set when i was young because theres no way she was better than me but beat me most times we played.

i voted no for one simple reason: you play against others like you who don't know any of the members with responsabilities on the room (the site, i mean the enterprise), so you are in equal position to your oponent. Then, one of you gets to win and the other looses. This is the game. Now, if you ask me "when does the poker room looses?" i will answer you fast and simple: never! Its just like a casino, real or virtual, the concept and the objectif of the owners is to win money giving players the oportunity to also win - but one will only win 1$ after casino owners win 1,000$, no doubt about that!
