Even though the action at the high stakes tables isn't the same like in the end of last year when Isildur1 played, there are still some games going on once in a while. Last night, the action was really on at Full Tilt poker when pros like Tom "durrrr" Dwan, Cole South, Illari Sahamies and Patrick Antonius tried their "luck".
Big winners of last night came to be Cole South ($257,000), Illari Sahamies ($436,000), Tom "durrrr" Dwan ($132,000). All of them played quite short sessions, but still made a good profit. In other words, it was a good day at work for all of them.
A player that had a tough time at the poker tables last night was the Finnish poker pro Patrik Antonius. It simply wasn't his night, and nothing went his way (like it did the most of time back in 2009). When he finally decided to give up, he had lost $826 000 in just 434 hands. Even though $826 000 is a lot of money, Patrik Antonius probably isn't crying out loud since he won about $9 million last year.

Patrik was in a very bad day. Losing almost 1M$ in just 434 hands. He still is a gr8 player no doubts |

I think so too. Patrik is a very strong player and he'll always recover and be the winner at the end, just like ivey does it every year. |

They should donate every dollar to Haiti relief funds. |

great to watch but i agree it will be more interesting with new face like isildur on fulltilt but it true that not every body can play at this limit i think that if i had the money to high stake i wont play this limit |

Long time didn't heared about High Stakes ^^. Quite nice it's not dead... Anyway good decision he left game when he was loosing so much in such short period of the time. |

800k down for PA, only 8.2 million to go! on the other hand, it seems like durrr is grinding back up nicely. PA and durrr are playing HU omaha now. lets see if they can actually end the durrr challenge by the end of this year. |

LaBaiz | 28/01/2010 13:29:12 GMT |
to win 9 millions in a year, that is astonishing and if he lost some money this time, than it probably just wasn't his night to shine. |
Fackinas | 28/01/2010 13:32:56 GMT |
Patrik , Durr loses much , but their winings is more than loses .. So they actually earn money not lose. |

I wish I had that much money to blow over a poker table...Which bankroll sizes do these guys have to bear such massive swings???? |

SuperNoob | 31/01/2010 14:04:23 GMT |
high stakes scene has been quiet for some time, maybe its the start of season and players are analysing their game. Patrick was most comfortable last year against isildur and must be hoping for his return |
