A massive $270,00 Bad Beat Jackpot was awarded on Tuesday (February 11th) at Horseshoe Cincinnati's World Series of Poker room in Cincinnati, Ohio. Gary Costa (right side of the dealer in the picture) had his four of a kind 7's beaten by Michael Humphreys's (left side of the dealer) jack-high straight flush.
Costa probably didn't mind losing the hand as he received the largest chunk of the jackpot ($108,000)! Humphreys received $54,000 for winning the hand and the remaining six players (behind dealer in picture) at the table won $18,000 each.
"This was an incredibly exciting day for the local poker players. Paying out the largest Bad Beat ever in the Cincinnati area, it's a rare occasion that players buying into a game for $100/$200 get to walk away $100,000 richer," said the manager of the poker room in a press release.
