I testify that on January 11th, 2008, as the fallout continued from the sub-prime mess and pending foreclosures in Countrywide customers, Bank Of America announced it would buy Countrywide Financial for $4.1 billion in stock making Bank of America Corp. the nation’s biggest mortgage lender and loan servicer. Thid continues the aggresive buying strategy of Bank of America after buying FleetBoston Financial and MBNA in the last 12 months.
(CNNMoney.com) -- Countrywide (CFC, Fortune 500) shares tumbled 15 percent in afternoon trading on the New York Stock Exchange a day after soaring 51 percent on speculation that the deal was forthcoming. Bank of America (BAC, Fortune 500) stock edged lower. Countrywide Chairman and CEO Angelo Mozilo said the sale to Bank of America was the right move as his company has endured ongoing fallout from the housing slump. "We believe this is the right decision for our shareholders, customers and employees," Mozilo said in a statement.

I TESTIFY that not all that glisters is gold! Often, what we think may be a fantastic thing, perhaps because of fuss or claims made by others, turns out to be nothing more than a damp squib. In such cases the result is that the thing is considered by us to be far worse than perhaps it really is and we become disproportionately disappointed.

i testify that a poker tournament is a tournament where players compete by playing poker. It can feature as few as two players playing on a single table (called a "heads-up" tournament), and as many as tens of thousands of players playing on thousands of tables. The winner of the tournament is usually the person who wins every poker chip in the game and the others are awarded places based on the time of their elimination.

In 1981, he paired with his current newscaster and co-host Robin Quivers at WWDC in Washington, D.C. before a stint at WNBC in New York City until his firing in 1985.

I must testify, that I have just tried to play a bluff with 42 suited. I made the call because behind me were only two more players and three sitting out. I got called from the loosest one at the table. With the ace on the flop I tried the bluff and lost it.

I tesity Patrick Galen Dempsey (born January 13, 1966) is an American actor and race car driver, best known for his role as neurosurgeon Dr. Derek Shepherd "McDreamy" on the ABC medical drama Grey's Anatomy. He saw early success as an actor, starring in a number of films in his early 20s, including Can't Buy Me Love (1987) and Loverboy (1989). In the 1990s, he mostly appeared in smaller roles in film and television, before landing a lead role in Sweet Home Alabama (2002), a surprise box office hit. He has since then starred in a number of other films, including Enchanted, Made of Honor, Valentine's Day, Flypaper, Freedom Writers and Transformers: Dark of the Moon.
Dempsey was diagnosed with dyslexia at age twelve. He told Barbara Walters on her 2008 Oscar special that he thinks dyslexia made him what he is today. "It's given me a perspective of—you have to keep working," Dempsey told Walters. "I have never given up."

I testify, that I am not a fan of Justin Timberlake, I did not even know how he looks like. Until the day before yesterday when I was watching a pretty good science fiction film called "In time". I liked it and at the end of the film it was written, that Justin Timberlake was the main protagonist in it.

I TESTIFY that today has been a pretty productive day at work, despite the fact that I have barely put pen to paper, but I have achieved so much in terms of progress on a project I am working on that I gave myself a bit of a pat on the back. I have to put pen to paper tomorrow though to account for it all.
