Cape Gazert (Coordinates: 53°5′S 73°21′E)

Cape Gazert is a cape at the western end of the rocky promontory which forms the south side of South West Bay, on the west side of Heard Island in the southern Indian Ocean. This feature was known to American sealers as "Green Point", as shown by Captain H.C. Chester's 1860 sketch map and other sealer maps of the period.

The present name was applied by the First German Antarctica Expedition when they landed at the feature in February 1902, after Doctor Hans Gazert, medical officer with the expedition, and it has become established in international usage.

I testify that none of the following applies to BRM all-in festivals
Slow play
That same free card must have little chance of giving an opponent a better hand or even giving them a draw to a better hand on the next round with sufficient pot odds to justify a call.
The player must believe that he will drive out opponents by showing aggression, but can win a big pot if the opponents stay in the pot.
The pot must not yet be very large.

i testify that back in the 1980’s quantitative equity traders realized that stocks within the same sector would move more or less in step with each other. That would mean for example when Citibank shares rose, the stocks of other major financial institutions would usually increase in value as well. This observation had very real fundamental foundations in finance theory and crowd behavior.

"What is my perfect crime? I break into Tiffany's at midnight.

Do I go for the vault? No, I go for the chandelier. It's priceless. As I'm taking it down, a woman catches me. She tells me to stop. It's her father's business.

She's Tiffany. I say no. We make love all night. In the morning, the cops come and I escape in one of their uniforms. I tell her to meet me in Mexico, but I go to Canada. I don't trust her. Besides, I like the cold.

Thirty years later, I get a postcard. I have a son and he's the chief of police. This is where the story gets interesting. I tell Tiffany to meet me in Paris by the Trocadero. She's been waiting for me all these years. She's never taken another lover.

I don't care. I don't show up. I go to Berlin. That's where I stashed the chandelier."

I TESTIFY that last night, I don't know why, but I did, I played my first ever game of OMAHA. I came in the money, placing 29 out of 1000 in a freeroll and bagged a whole $1 for my troubles. Fancy that I may play it again sometime. Maybe will do some reading up on the finer niceties of the game before investing anything in it though!

I testify

that omaha freerolls are very weird, especially if the game is some kind of limit game.

Seven-card stud example
In a seven-card stud game, Ted's first three cards are all fours. Alice with a king showing bets first, Ted raises and Alice calls. On the next round, Alice catches another king, and Ted miraculously catches the last four (making four-of-a-kind).

YWHAB
14-3-3 protein beta/alpha is a protein that in humans is encoded by the YWHAB gene

This gene encodes a protein belonging to the 14-3-3 family of proteins, members of which mediate signal transduction by binding to phosphoserine-containing proteins. This highly conserved protein family is found in both plants and mammals.

The encoded protein has been shown to interact with RAF1 and CDC25 phosphatases, suggesting that it may play a role in linking mitogenic signaling and the cell cycle machinery. Two transcript variants, which encode the same protein, have been identified for this gene.

YWHAB has been shown to interact with CDC25A,[3] CDC25B,[3][4] BRAF,[5][6] C-Raf,[3][7][8][9][10][11] RPS6KA1,[12] EPB41L3,[5][13] CD29,[14] Wee1-like protein kinase,[15] PTPN3,[16] Protein kinase Mζ,[9] MAPK7,[17] TESK1,[18] TNFAIP3,[11] Cbl gene,[19] HDAC4[20] and KCNK3.[21]

"When my mother was pregnant with me, they did an ultrasound and found she was having twins. When they did another ultrasound a few weeks later, they discovered that I had resorbed the other fetus. Do I regret this? No. I believe his tissues has made me stronger. I now have the strength of a grown man and a little baby.

I come from a long line of fighters. My maternal grandfather was the toughest guy I ever knew. World War II veteran, killed 20 men, then spent the rest of the war in an Allied prison camp. My father battled blood pressure and obesity all his life. Different kind of fight."

Seven-card stud example
Ted suspects Alice has two pair or three kings, and Alice suspects that Ted has two pair or three fours. Alice bets again, and Ted just flat calls. Ted decides to just call for next round or two, and maybe even check if Alice doesn't bet, rather than raising, for several reasons

i testify that a "minced oath" is a euphemistic expression formed by misspelling, mispronouncing, or replacing a part of a profane, blasphemous, or taboo term to reduce the original term's objectionable characteristics. Some examples include "gosh" for god, "darn" or "dang" for damn, and "heck" for hell.

Celtic F.C. and World War I

In the early 20th Century Celtic F.C. was already a successful club having won 10 Scottish League Championships and 8 Scottish Cups in their 26 year history (by 1914).

Celtic also won trophies during the war (four Scottish League Championship and one Scottish Cup), however of the 908,371 British and Commonwealth soldiers who died in the fighting, seven were former Celtic players.
They were Patrick Slavin, Leigh Richmond Roose, Donnie McLeod, Archie McMillan, Robert Craig, John McLaughlin and Peter Johnstone. Roose and Slavin died in the Battle of the Somme (1916), four others died in 1917 and Craig died in 1918.

I testify, that...

"During a wildly entertaining first round of the NFL draft on Thursday night, the big three quarterbacks came off the board in three unexpected directions. Curiously, the team that had its choice of passers seemed to make the worst decision of them all. Identifying value and proper process is often a tenuous proposition, but even before Round 2 begins, it seems like the Browns and Vikings did a far better job of repairing their broken quarterback situations than the Jaguars did. In fact, those two franchises might have found a bargain for a bargain in the way they drafted Johnny Manziel and Teddy Bridgewater, respectively.

Jacksonville destroyed every mock draft in existence by selecting Blake Bortles with the third overall pick. In the process, they may very well have sidelined their latest rebuilding project. Having maintained total radio silence on Bortles from the beginning of the process, the news that the Jaguars would take him was the first stunning development of the night. Sometimes, a surprising pick can make a lot of sense in hindsight. This is not one of them."
