I TESTIFY that I o not believe that I have ever felt this emotionless about the failure of the English football team to succeed. I don't suppose I ever expected them too, but deep down inside there was this little glimmer of hope that is trying to poke its way brought as disappointment, but the apathy about it all is still working quite well, mainly based on the remote outside chance that we can still qualify for the next round. Testify... Latin is a dead language... As for defining our current usage of particular words (which you randomly have chosen) makes no sense to me. Furthermore, the etymology of those words are for the most part, as dead as Latin. Throughout time languages, whether borrowed or not, have either redefined those words or have attached connotations different from the past. Language mutates. I also testify that after years of swimming in a pleasant lake which adjoined our small farm, my new house has introduced me to the ups and downs of a swimming pool and the maintenance required. Lastly, I testify that for supper we will be visiting my mom, and barbecuing parts of some kind of animal, probably a pig or a chicken.
