i testify that potatoes (mainly Russets) are commonly used in plant research. The consistent parenchyma tissue, the clonal nature of the plant and the low metabolic activity provide a very nice "model tissue" for experimentation. Wound-response studies are often done on potato tuber tissue, as are electron transport experiments. In this respect, potato tuber tissue is similar to Drosophila melanogaster, Caenorhabditis elegans and Escherichia coli: they are all "standard" research organisms.

Siege of Eretria
The Siege of Eretria took place in 490 BC, during the first Persian invasion of Greece. The city of Eretria, on Euboea, was besieged by a strong Persian force under the command of Datis and Artaphernes.
The first Persian invasion was a response to Greek involvement in the Ionian Revolt, when the Eretrians and Athenians had sent a force to support the cities of Ionia in their attempt to overthrow Persian rule. The Eretrian and Athenian force had succeeded in capturing and burning Sardis, but was then forced to retreat with heavy losses. In response to this raid, the Persian king Darius I swore to have revenge on Athens and Eretria.

It's getting on my nerves lol... The discussion here is not if it's aliens but rather if it is an airplane or a satellite.
Looks like a satellite but the wife says its too low for that.. Could be a plane but i dont know what plane flies at night with a giant light-bulb up its A** ( i mean rear) .
For all i know airplanes have headlights like cars not on the back, and besides it never blinks like u usually see on the wings.

i testify that one of the main problems with the standard western diet (aside from health issues) is the extremely large environmental footprint associated with its reliance on large servings of meat and other animal products. Growing animals for food, especially in modern "factory-farming" operations, is responsible for producing vast amounts of greenhouse gases, while also requiring substantial freshwater resources and contributing to water and air pollution.

I testify that i enjoyed the game yesterday. At one point I felt sorry for the Brazilian team and kinda wished they would stage a comeback to at least 4-5 when the 2nd half started.. Soon after I got used to the idea that it was not just a bad day... it was a really bad team lol.
Today to make it worse I've read on the news about the violence after the game.. well.. if they didn't maybe deserve such a beat then.. now they surely do!! the violent acts will be forgotten by the world but their sports results wont.
