PKR has just released a major software update (PKR 3.0). The login-to-lobby-to-table journey is now quicker and gameplay is faster as a number of pauses between animations have been removed. In addition, the new software includes some cosmetic improvements and new design features. Click here to check out a video preview of the new software!
Sebastian Pauli, a 25-year-old pro from Germany, brought the heaviest bag of chips to the final table and remained out front until all his opponents had hit the rail, including poker superstars Kevin MacPhee and Jake Cody.
Mike Leah entered the third and final day of the WSOP APAC High Roller with more than half of the chip in play (2,576,000). The fact is that only one of his opponents, David Yan, had a stack of more than 1 million chips amongs the 6 finalists. After Brian Roberts, Sam Khouiss, 2012 WSOP Main Event winner Jonathan Duhamel and 2012 WSOP Main Event runner up Jesse Sylvia had hit the rail, the two big stacks played heads-up for the title.
Just as expected it didn't take long for 36 players to become two tables of 16 players on Day 4 of the EPT London Main Event. Once again the tournament had a new chip leader when Day 4 concluded: Sebastian Pauli, Germany, with 2.7 million chips.
It took about 10 hours of intensive play on Day 4 until 18 players became a final table of six. Jack Salter, who is best known for his victory at the 2014 Aussie Millions Poker Championship, will lead the way into the final table with 3,255,000 chips - or about 1 million more than his closest competitior, Scott Davies, with 2,210,000.

36 of 127 players survived the third day of play of the EPT London Main Event. For the third day in a row the tournament had a new chip leader, Mikhail Petrov, when the tournament director called it a day.
Team PokerStars SportStars member Rafa Nadal will be be taking on players at 20:00 PM CET tonight in a 6-max Zoom poker game. The table is called 'Rafa vs The World' and will open at 19:00 PM. He will play for one hour and answer questions that are sent via Twitter with the #AskRafa hashtag.
Day 3 of the AU$10,000 Main Event (played at Crown Casino in Melbourne, Australia) concluded with 18 of 70 players bagging up chips. The money bubble popped when 36 players remained, but poker stars such as Joathan Duhamel, Jeff Gross, Brian Rast found themselves short of the money.

Thanks to a few late registrations, the £4,250 EPT London Main Event attracted a total field of 675 players. Today, after 3 days of play (Day 1A , Day 1 B and Day 2), 130 players will return to the poker tables and continue the journey towards the final table, where a £499,700 top prize is up for grabs!
In case you missed it, the World Series of Poker Asia-Pacific (WSOP APAC) kicked off on October 2nd at Crown Casino in Melbourne, Australia. The AUD$10,000 buy-in Main Event started on Sunday and Day 2 is currently on a dinner break. There are approximately 100 players left of 329 entries. The chip leader is Ivan Zhou with 293k. Jackie Glazier is in second place with 285k.

Not less than 443 players entered Day 1A of the PokerStar EPT London Main Event. This means that a total of 667 players have entered the tournament and that it is the biggest EPT London Main Event since 2011!

Crockfords' lawyers successfully convinced the high court in London that Ivey's edge-sorting technique, which the 10-time WSOP bracelet winner used to win £7.7 million playing Baccarat last year, wasn't legitimate. Judge John Mitting said that Ivey's technique used was considered as cheating under civil law.
According to The Daily Journal, two men received jail terms on Friday for running an illegal poker club at a women's fitness centre in Runnemede, New Jersey.
A judge gave a 364-day jail term to Ryan Dion, 33, and a 270-day term to Thomas Rand, 43. The men must also serve three years of probation. Three other men were also sentenced to probation for working as dealers and cashiers at the poker club.
