HighStakes: Isildur1 lost $2,7 million dollars

Tags: Cole South, Isildur1, Patrik Antonius, Tom durrr Dwan, Ziigmund.
Posted on 02 December 2009 by "T".

On Tuesday night, Isildur1 and Ilari "Ziigmund" Sahamies were once again playing against each other. In the previous heads-up match, Ziigmund crushed Isildur1 and won around $1,5 million in just 600 hands. This time was no different than the previous session as Ilari "Ziigmund" Sahamies once again dominated and got the Swede on tilt. After 1123 hands, Isildur1 had lost a bit more than a million and Ziigmund decided to call it a day. Ziigmund's decision to stop for the day just made the Swede even more frustrated and angry.

A very tired, frustrated and angry Isildur1 started to make fun of Ziigmund in the poker chat by writing stuff like "How can you stop playing when you are winning and I almost can't keep my eyes open". Ilari "Ziigmund" Sahamies didn't let Isildur1's talk get to him, and he left the table $1 million richer. Isildur1, however, had no plans on stopping after this as he started playing against Tom "durrr" Dwan, Cole South and Patrik Antonius instead. Isildur1 continued playing bad the rest of the night, and after he had lost about $2,7 million, he finally gave up and went to sleep.

I am not able to follow them.. once he wins once he loses, always huge amounts.
But in the end, who's the real winner ?
1 million, 2 million, 3 million: are we talking about money or nuts ?????

It is real money.

Results? Isildur takes Dwans money, and drops it to the other pros.

Nice little christmas present for Ziigmund ... isildur probably sprayed the wall with his brain right after losing that kind of money.
 Chartoule02/12/2009 16:11:54 GMT
Wow.. 5M $ in a few days (he wins today 1.3M? then 'only' 3.7M). That guy plays millions like i play 5$ in NL25.
I have to see the session, sure is interesting.

Bye and aces for all!!

Yeah I hate it too when I lose a mil or two when I get tired, but oh well just get some sleep and get it back. Doomdy is right, he has lost a ton of money but I still think durrrr is number one loser for the year

As a matter of fact he was playing yesterday. I watched him lose quite a bit to Zigmund. Then Townsend joined their table and Zigmund left. Dwan started to win some money from Townsend. I have to admit though, that I didn't see Dwan playing against Isildur yesterday.

Must be bloody mad, they all have more money than sense, damned if I would blow that on poker. I love playing the game, but not to that extent.
"
Catch 22 really. They only have that money from playing poker you know. And playing high stakes at that. So you would never be in that situation.
 fcumred03/12/2009 00:24:23 GMT
I wouldnt mind hte rake off that table, let alone the money they play with...
 Meed100103/12/2009 14:32:50 GMT

The rake is a joke compared with lower stakes. $1.000.000 pot, $1 rake. Players at NL100 would dream about such a low rake.

Again and again he is loosing ^^.
I would like to know how much cash he got left.

He is now down more than 1.5 million on Full Tilt. Looks like he has busted at least his bankroll there.
 skill2beReal03/12/2009 18:42:32 GMT
that is so sick, i never could do that, even if i would have money like this. When iam tilt i stop playin...not rly pro like for me...

 SuperNoob04/12/2009 18:56:30 GMT
2.7 mil $$ .... omgggggg
thats a load of money to lose in 1 day, don't think he'll be back soon.
maybe his honeymoon period is over, lol
 shokaku04/12/2009 22:25:04 GMT
Isildurs reign is over. Again down 500k for the day. And now he starts losing even against his former victim Dwan. Interestingly they played "only" 600/300, and holdem, not PLO.
 B1gfoot04/12/2009 22:28:51 GMT
Isildur was on a high and should have had some time out.
Durrs making a slow comeback, good to see they dont have to play MAX all the time, they suite eachouther.
