James Mackey became the champion of the World Poker Tour Choctaw Main Event on Tuesday after defeating Benjamin Zamani in the heads-up play. On the final hand, Mackey's pair of eights held up against Zamani's pocket fives after both players went all in pre-flop.

Following the controversial "Confessions of a Botter (ACR/WPN)" thread on the 2+2 forums, the Winning Poker Network (WPN) has officially declared war on all poker bots.  Phil Nagy, CEO of WPN, has had enough and said that the war is on and "there would be casualties."

According to a report from the Detroit Free Press, a couple of brothers from Detroit, Michigan, were sentenced to prison for robbing a poker home game in 2015. Tyler Terrill Ayers, age 26, and his brother Terence Montreal Ayers, age 22, both expressed their apologies for their actions.

The 2016 World Series of Poker Main Event Championship is down to about 800 players after Day 3 concluded a few hours ago.
