A young shopkeeper apparently has been put behind bars after hundreds of thousands of pounds was accidentally paid to his bank account and he chose to say nothing about it.
Sandeep Singh, age 34, was mistakenly credited an amount of £766,098 within a duration of two years when his bank details were confused with those of the Rubicon Casino located in Wolverhampton.
The banking error, by ATM company DC Payments, which went unnoticed for two years, occurred after Singh placed a cash machine in his shop.

Britsh poker pro Marcus Bebb-Jones, 49, was arrested at his home in Kidderminster, Worcestershire, in 2009 for the murder of his wife Sabrina, 31, in 1997. He admitted second-degree murder, telling police he killed his wife in a "heat of passion". On Wednesday, bbc news wrote that he had been jailed at Garfield County Court for 20 years, but his sentence will be reduced to reflect the time he has severed awaiting the trial.

Achilleas "The Don" Kallakis, 44, lived a jet-set lifestyle of high-stakes real estate purchases and casino/poker gambling. In total, he invested in 16 real estates for €120,000,0000 from 2003 to 2008 and had a private jet, helicopter and super yacht moored in Monaco. He was well known on the casino circuit, spending large sums on backgammon and poker.

The German Poker pro Martin Finger has once again been in trouble after a night out partying (read EPT Prague winner arrested by the police). This time he was thrown out from a club during PokerStars Caribbean Adventure in Bahamas. Besides that he punched the former world champion Jonathan Duhamel the face outside the club.

Samuel McMaster Jr, a stockbroker, has swindled his customers on about $500,000 and for that he was taken to court. The court came to the conclusion that McMaster was guilty to 26 charges and therefore risked to face 12 years behind bars. But instead of sending him to jail straight away, the people who he owed money decided to give him a unique chance - to play poker and try to win back the money.
