Ill check it out. Always nice to get some perspective, thanks for the line!!!

------------
Unfortunately my audio lags behind my video when i make poker vids with live commentary. Im thinking its easily avoided by saving the audio on a different file and then combining the two in movie maker. Then it almost resembles work.

How did i do today... Well i was trying to make a video that showed start to finish solid play and kept ending up out. I have a nice collection of beats but only about half of them would be considered suckouts. Was playing good poker but was just on the wrong table or in the wrong hand kind of thing most times. My QQ would run into a set or my AA would be slow enough to allow someone to pop two pair kind of day. All of that stuck with me when i entered the 3k Frenzy. I was decidedly tight when the game started but soon enough i made a few chips and was sitting around 12k when all hell broke loose. First i had 99 in the bb and button shoved. I snapped and he had A2. A on flop. down to 9k. Pick AQ in middle position and lead out. Two callers and a Q. lead out. one dives other calls. I call KQ 104 are the villains holdings. K on turn. busto. Now I had to rebuy and was facing a bb of 2k when my rebuy gave me only 3k. Allin rebuy. Allin rebuy. I was lucky and hit my SB for a quick 10k. picking up 42 hearts on the button i smooth called the 2k because 4 others did same. I flop jj4. gets checked until turn. i bet 2k repping the J and am pushed by a large stack for my remaining chips. Meh maybe ill not rebuy this time. Instead my 4 is good and i hold and am now at 25k. I sit until break a few mins later and addon.

The rest they say is history!!!!!! Ill be adding to my blog later and hopefully uploading a video of the final table action. Anyways thanks to all for the words of support and advice. The best deterent to poor play is worrying about what ur peers think and who knows who is watching.

Well ne ways good luck all!!!

Now That is a screen capture program. Thanks for the hook-ups icey!!!! Smile))))

Now if only i could get the hamster to stay on the wheel while these things render....

my pc must suck. it can do many things but just like me not more then 1 at a time. and slow too Blink

oh, i almost forgot. here is the latest video all nice and clear thanks to you Blink

------------
Alright, ill try something new. Ill post the games im playing in today along with the results.

so here is the schedule:

------------
I also screen shot the Micro 30$ gtd games. These games are extremely valuable. First takes 9$ and the buy-in is a mere 0.30cents. The games never have more then 35 players in them. The plo game you can double up and sit out until money sometimes while both the nlhe and horse games are more chaotic.

So ill be making a video of my $1 Dazzler $350 Gtd. Im going to be splicing the videos for easier uploads and rendering so maybe ill put one up later this afternoon.

A small note. I keep getting friend requests by players i am sure ive never met so i assume they are from brm.com. If i dont accept right away its because i rarely bring up the friends list. I will do it though rest assured.

Couple of things, first let me say nice video, much better than your previous and you added commentary so we are able to tell what you were thinking when you did such things.

Secondly, I am saying this as I see them, so they could come jumbled. I think it was around hand 7-10 you picked up A6s on the cutoff, blinds were 100-200, you bet 475 and left yourself 325, to me this was a bad bet, if you had lost the pot you would of been in really bad shape. That should of defiantly been a push. You still probably would of got a caller, also you checked the hand down, you should of bet the turn after it was checked down, as he showed he was weak. / or should of continuation bet. Never leave yourself in that position, and by that i mean, risk half your stack, to fold on the to a bet.

Thirdly, this should of been above the above but meh, you dont need to play mediocre hands when playing 6 / 9 man SnG's at that level, the players are so bad, just sit and wait it out as if it was an MTT, I have made the money many times from just folding near enough every hand let the other players at the table do the work for you, and only enter pots where you are the big favourite. Also, the above is alot better strategy from a normal SnG, and not a turbo. Maybe your playing it right, as I dont play turbos, but that is how i would play them.

Your final hand, I'm not sure what I would do in that spot, I could be tempted to fold, to that all in bet, due to the fact you was not in any trouble in regards of chip stack. I think there was no right or wrong way to play that hand, you just got out drawn and that happens in poker Smile

Hope this helps Big Smile

I really do appreciate the breakdown. I also like to typically wait for premy hands but as it was a super turbo i was a bit inexperienced. I really like how you would fold the last hand. Thats totally not something i would have done but after reading u may i think it is the correct play for my own personal style.

I never like gambling in pots im not sure where i am.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Alright, i played my schedule and did horribly. I made it deep enough but not itm nor ever in a spot i felt comfortable in. I had decent stacks in two of the games but lost all my good hands. I tried to find some chips with less then stellars and was shown the door soon after.

i think micromachina has a very good strategy as he is constantly winning. turbos are different as you cant just sit back and wait for other people to get knocked out, as the blinds go up quicker it eats into your stack more quickly.

keep up the good work and nice blogs as usual Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Im not suggesting that his strategy is the issue, as ofc its not, but he was asking for advice in STT SnG's to which I have only ever played mostly. So thats the advice I gave him on those particular hands where i saw any fault in the gameplay.

And as i mentioned, I myself stay away from turbos for that particular reason, but still would play the same TAG style that is my game.

Alright... whats TAG? hehe i have to ask.

Advice is almost as good as perspective or experience imo. More is always good!!!

Just a style of play...

TAG = Tight and Aggressive
LAG = Loose and Aggressive

I myself have been thinking of taking advantage of the Carbon offer here and moving my business there as its also on Merge. In a perfect world Hero would toss some love around here via incentives.

I really appreciate the glowing review tho Macubaas Blink

So i kind of left my schedule hanging the other day after posting. I know i made a video of the 350gtd but i had quite a few on this old machine and it was lagging everything. So i wiped all the video i had and cleaned my pc quite a bit. Physically with a can of air (what doesnt it do?) and internally with a few cleaning programs and such. Worked well enough but im thinking its almost time to rebuild it, we have the technology... lol.

Alright so i made this video and already posted it in the general thread but like to document my videos in here as well. Its a $5 sng where i start off short due to bad play on my part.

Ive been playing these $5 45ers for a bit and other then some early success i am a losing player in them i believe. Since ive started recording them and taking more time to think things thru ive found it harder to call off with such loose hands. Or even open in pots where being ahead is slim and in a good spot even slimmer.

This was two days ago i believe but last night i cashed in one and today again. I usually only play one a day so i can maintain my patience since ive been playing them pretty patiently.

I haven't been able to read this entire thread but I will have to come back to it for sure. Set up a carbon account before I realized we had an offer here. Have been wanting to play online again heard hero was a good site to check out. Any thoughts or tips? Evil

Sounds like you are exactly where i was when i started this blog. Give the first page a brief skim and let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks for dropping a line and gl

Its a new month and im already way off the pace. The sng leaderboard was a foolish idea. I tried playing for a few hours yesterday and finished slightly up save a whole 8 games of 2.12$ turbos lost to a internet issue. Regardless its fun to play them but they are tilt inducing and the players that grind them already have 20,000 sng points with 1st giving only 100 so they seem pretty determined.

Back to the honey hole. Ive decided to play sng's still but i will be focusing on 27 along with 45 player sng's. As these are the most conducive to my mtt goals.

Many cool promotions are currently available at HeroPoker and they just announced their version of the TCOOPS. its called Poker Maximus and is a whole scheudle of different stake games taking place in 40 days time.

There also is a 25k Bankroll Booster promo going on and by accumulating points each day you are granted access to different levels of the freeroll. So if i get 15 vips in a day i can play a game with 2500 people. 75 vips is around 300 people and the 100 vips and 500 vips are much shorter field sizes. The top ten in each game receive entry to the 25k event at the end of the month of February.

I also figured out how to finally play in the FUN STEPS game on HeroPoker.com. I made a video of it so i dont have to explain the steps.

I also made a headsup/turbo video and will be hoping to upload that sometime today. I usually render my videos when im not planning on playing so its a bit of a hassle. I like to render when i sleep but got lazy last night and didnt bother.
