The 2019 Triton Poker Series in Jeju, South Korea was deemed a smashing success that the participating players have made a decision to create a last minute event to add to the schedule.

Those who already had flights scheduled on time had to cancel and find new hotel accommodations just so they can join in on the action. In the end, there were 23 players who built a prize pool worth HKD 34,780,000 (USD 4,430,604).

Triton Poker Series Jeju Main Event won by Timothy Adams for $3.5M

The Triton Poker Series Jeju Main Event has been won by Timothy Adams after he outlasted a player field of 38, winning the prize amount considered to be currently his biggest score ever in poker.

Before this tournament, the Canadian poker pro hasn't yet made a signature win in a six-figure buy-in event. This all changed when he defeated Bryn Kenney in heads-up play to win the HK$2 Million (US$254,779) buy-in Triton Poker Jeju NLHE Main Event (Event #6), taking home the title and the cash prize worth HK$27,760,500 (US$3.54 million).

The opening event of the 2019 Triton Poker Super High Roller Series has been won by none other than the current number 1 player in the All-Time Money List, Justin Bonomo.

Short Deck Poker, also called 6-Plus Hold’em, is a card poker game based on Texas Hold’em. While the rules are mostly the same, short deck poker is played with a 36-card deck instead of 52. A Canadian woman accused of buying a lottery ticket using a stolen credit card was arrested while she was on her way to the lottery office.

When she attempted to claim her $50,000 prize for her ‘Super Crossword' scratch card at the Atlantic Lottery center in St. John's, Newfoundland Island, the 33-year-old lady was arrested by police waiting nearby.

The social media site appeared to have encouraged developers of games such as Ninja Saga, Angry Birds and PetVille to allow "friendly fraud" so they could rake in more revenues.

According to newly unsealed court documents, Facebook intentionally permitted children to spend money on its site without the knowledge of their parents. In some cases, even the children themselves weren't aware they were racking up hundreds or thousands of dollars already while they play their favorite online game via Facebook.

The Ivey Room, a private poker room that poker players have known for nine years where some of the biggest nosebleed cash games occur, is no more, at least in name.

The Ivey Room, a high-stakes poker room in Aria named after legendary yet controversial Phil Ivey that opened in May 2010, has now been renamed to simply "Table 1". This comes amidst his recent legal battle after Atlantic City's Borgata casino was given the go signal by a federal court to chase after him and take the $10.1 million he owed them for the edge-sorting case.

David Peters emerged triumphant in a player field of 33 to claim the prize of $1,320,000 in the U.S. Poker Open Event #10: $100,000 Main Event.

The 2019 U.S. Poker Open ended its 10-event series on Saturday evening after one out of 33 players won in Event #10: $100,000 Main Event. Nine Online Bracelet Events set for 2019 WSOP

There will be a total of nine online bracelet events to be held for this year’s World Series of Poker, though it’s not yet confirmed whether players from New Jersey can join the poker festival.

The World Series of Poker held its very first gold bracelet online event back in 2015. Since then, there’s a total of nine bracelets and over $10M in prize money that have been awarded to players on WSOP.com. It was announced yesterday (February 21) that there will be nine bracelets up for grabs this 2019 WSOP.
