On Monday, 102 players returned for Day 4 of the biggest EPT Main event in history. After six levels of play and 12 long hours, 25 players bagged up chips and the chip leaer was Bram Haenraets of Netherlands with 4,395,000 in chips!

In case you missed it, the Main Event of the 2014 European Poker Tour Barcelona kicked off last Thursday and saw a field of approximately 470 players battle it out for eight 75-minute levels of play. Believe it or not but over 1000 players showed up for Day 1B and made the tournament the biggest EPT event on European soil ever! After three day of intensive play there are now 102 of the original 1,496 players left in the field.

According to KSLA NEWS, a 91-year-old World War 2 veteran was robbed of his casino winnings on Thursday morning. Police said that two men followed the old man to a restroom, beat him up and robbed him of his winnings before running away from the scene. They said the victim managed to injure one of the men during the robbery.

After searching downtown, police found the men and were able to link them to the robbery. John Perkins (left), 39, and Gary Smith (right), 60, were arrested and charged with second-degree robbery. They were put behind bars in the Shreveport City Jail. The 91-year-old WWII veteran is now recovering in the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

On Thursday, a massive field of 475 players went to Casino Barcelona to participate in Day 1A of the 2014 European Poker Tour Main Event! After eight 75-minute levels of play, the tournament director called it a day and Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi bagged up the largest stack (186,600) amongst the 279 survivors.

Tristan Wade bested a field of 303 entries in the WSOP Circuit Palm Beach Kennel Club Main Event to nab the World Series of Poker Circuit ring and the $106,806 first-place prize!

Five Kanas residents, Gregory Rapp, 30, Denise Hurla, 50, Christopher Anderson, 30, Kenneth Stewart, 33, and Jeffrey Selectman, 29, are being accusing of selling marijuana and laundering the profits through slot machines at a casino in Kansas City, Kansas.
