I talked to a lot of other players in Monte Carlo recently about what it's like over there and it sounds full on, so it will be cool to actually experience it myself.

"There's a drug, I don't know the name of it, but it's something like speed. I'm talking about a really heavy drug. Many poker players have taken this drug in the past 10 years. Almost all players who took this drug has won 1 or 2 million dollars over a 6-8 month period. But then the effect of the drug stopped working, which left many of them with a drug addiction. I smoked weed about 25 years ago or something like that. But I'm not a person who's into drugs at all."

Posted on 14 March 2012 by "T".

According to an interview with the chairman of Nevada Gaming Control Board, we might see a legislation of online poker in USA already this year. The chairman, Mark Lipparelli, says that a new gaming license system might get the first official applications within a few months time. This would mean that gambling sites could be running legally in some states already this year. The first state to get a license, however, will most likely be Nevada.

In the interview, Lipparelli also talked in detail how the procedure for applying gambling sites would work. Besides the application itself, this procedure includes other things such as a real technical evaluation of the applicant's products to make sure that only serious, well-functioning sites get the license.

It's not a secret that Phil Hellmuth has a big problem with his temper when playing poker. Even though Phil has a huge bankroll and probably seen it all when it comes to bad beats, he still can't control his feelings after so many years of experience. For quite some time now many of the world's best poker players have been trying to help Phil (in many different ways) to deal with his temper - but most of them have given up. Tony G, however, refuses to give up and in a recent video interview he said the following about his dear friend Phil Hellmuth.

"Phil is a very nice person away from the poker table. But at the poker table he's mentally unstable and needs professional help", Tony G told the interviewer.

"He has gotten one of those headshrinkers to help him now, and I also try to help him. One just feel like taking care of Phil. I lead him, just like my dog.

Mike Matusow challenges Isildur1

Tags: challenges, interview, isildur1, mike matusow, radio, versus
Posted on 21 April 2010 by "T".

Mike Matusow didn't get his nickname "The Mouth" for nothing. If he has something on his mind, no matter what it might be, you can bet on it that he will speak out loud. In a recent radio interview, Mike Matusow said that he cant understand why people want to watch a maniac/idiot like Isildur1 playing poker. Matusow said that he would like to play against Isildur1 and crush him at the limits he's playing - "not fucking nosebleed stakes".

Its not hard to understand that Mike Matusow don't think much of the mysterious swede as poker player, even though he used to play high stakes online like a maniac back in the days when he had the bankroll to do so. Maybe he's just angry because Isildur1 got so much attention and he didn't? Well, he shouldn't be angry. I mean, he never been even close to as successful as Isildur1 online. His live career is a different story though.

Hastings about the $4 million win

Tags: brian hastings, full tilt poker, interview, isildur1
Posted on 17 December 2009 by "T".

Brian Hastings became one of the most talked about poker players after that he won over $4 million dollars in one single session against the unknown Swede "Isildur1." The win is the biggest someone has ever had in a single session, so of course, it wasn't so strange that he ended up in almost all poker headlines around the globe.

After the huge win, one could read in his blog about how happy and chocked he was after winning so much money. Now, a few days later, he has made his first big interview. In this interview one can read that he could never see this happening when he started playing against "Isildur1" that day and that he feels very fortunate to be were he is right now, and even though he played very well, luck was a major factor, according to himself. Brian Hastings says that he have received a lot of great feedback from players and friends after the big win, which he is really thankful for.

Its also mentioned in the interview that according to some rumors, a few players had a piece of his big win. However that was nothing he wanted to leave out any details about. And when he was asked about a possible comeback from "Isiludur1", he answered that he's a great player and that he for sure will be back at the high stakes in a near future.
