The poker star Scotty Nguyen became the 2008 champion at the WSOP H.O.R.S.E event; he has earlier won titles in both WSOP Main Event and World Poker Tour. When the TV broadcast of this event came out it shows a drunk and trash talking Scotty at the final table. There has been a lot of talk about how this event played out and the part that Scotty played in it.

During the final table Scotty is acting really inappropriate towards the other players at the tables but also towards the staff and waitresses. He is also showing his cards to the audience behind him during one hand which is really out of line.

After getting loads of mails from his fans complaining about his behaviour he has decided to make a reply to all his fans on his website.Read more » Scotty Nguyen's Letter to the Fans

The world's largest poker site, PokerStars now joins FullTilt as one of the only major poker sites to provide their customer with a downloadable Mac-compatible software. PokerStars has had a beta version with minor limitations for Mac users available on their website since the end of 2007. But now, over 1 year after they first started working on the Mac version, the IT development team together with Mac users playing at PokerStars has finalized a complete Mac version which includes the same functions as the windows-compatible software.

The new Mac software is downloadable and specifically created for the latest Mac operating system while it includes compatibility with older Mac OS versions as well. The success is already a fact as the lunch of the new software occurred just in time for "2008 World Championship of online poker" at PokerStars.

Visit PokerStars.com to download the new full version of the Mac client.

Brian Townsend is one of the writers at Cardrunners that have reached "Red Pro Status" at Full Tilt Poker. He is also known under the alias "sbrugby" at Full Tilt. He has been dominating the games with the highest limits on the net. During his time at Cardrunners he got a contract with Full Tilt Poker to become one of their sponsored pros. Just like all the other pros at Full Tilt he had to start playing with his real name as his alias which is flagged in red in the poker lobby when he sits at the tables. Brian Townsend is now admitting that he has not been following this rule, he has also been playing under the alias "Stellarnebula" during his time as a pro at Full Tilt Poker. He also admits that he has been doing the same thing at PokerStars by using the alias "Markersmark66" instead of his real account which is "aba20".
