Grinding the World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) in Mexico is a yearly event for poker player Shaun Deeb.

The American poker pro has to take a trip to Mexico so that he can play these events, and so far has accumulated 57 online cashes since August 30. For Deeb, the trip is typically worth it as he is easily one of the most successful WCOOP players of all time, with several bracelets under his name.

I don't know about you folks, but I'm really starting to miss playing live poker. Sitting around a table, shuffling chips, talking s**t. Drinking too much coffee. The steady, mellow pace that can make 12 hours pass before you've noticed. I love it, I miss it, and it looks unlikely any of us will get to play any time soon. I've been thinking about what it's going to look like when we finally do go back and today I'm going to try to organize some of those thoughts and maybe start a conversation about them.

2020 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas Postponed until Autumn

The organizers of the World Series of Poker has finally succumbed to the inevitable, postponing this year's largest, richest and most prestigious poker event in the world due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

On Monday, April 20, WSOP organizers announced that the 51st edition of the event originally scheduled to kick off on Tuesday, May 26 from the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas is officially being postponed as a result of the public health emergency involving the novel coronavirus. They are aiming to reschedule in autumn, with exact dates and events yet to be released.

Triton Poker SHR Series 2020 in Jeju Postponed Amid Coronavirus Outbreak

The 2020 Triton Poker Super High Roller Series in Jeju, South Korea that was supposed to start on February 10 until 22 at the Landing Casino, has been ‘postponed until further notice' due to the Coronavirus outbreak that wreaked havoc in China recently.

According to Triton's news page on Friday, the organizers of the event said the decision was made due to the coronavirus outbreak and the ‘global emergency' called by the World Health Organization on Thursday.
