The 2015 edition of PokerStars' Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) ended on Sunday with three Main Events in Low, Medium and High buy-ins. Despite the latter having a buy-in of $10,300, 694 entries were made and generated a prize pool of $6,940,000 (the orginal guarantee was $4 million)!
Poker King Club, the home of some of the world's biggest cash games, was relocated from StarWorld Casino to The Venetian Macau in September last year. Due to refurbishment works being carried out since the re-location, the poker club used a temporary space until the official re-opening last Friday.
As many of you already are aware of, gambling is forbidden in mainland China and the only casinos with permits to operate are located in Macau.

According to WPT reporters, the Moroccan born cafeteria owner learned the game playing cash games with his friends. He doesn't visit casinos that often and only decided to play this event (his first poker tournament) to experience something different and compete against poker's elite.
