A big congrats to Mike "Timex" McDonald who won the EPT Malta High Roller (his first-ever High Roller title) yesterday! According to PokerStars Blog, McDonald, Juha Helppi and Nick Petrangelo started discussing a potential deal when they were the last remaining three players of 63 entrants.

When the star-filled WSOP Europe Berlin High Roller final table kicked off on Friday, Italian poker pro Mustapha Kanit had a big lead with a stack of 1.7 million (his closest opponent, Christoph Vogelsang, had less than half of that). Funnily enough the two short stacks, 3-time gold bracelet winner Davidi Kitai and 2010 WSOP winner Jonathan Duhamel, made it to heads-up after several hours of battle.

Kevin MacPhee ended up with the chip lead for the second day in a row as the final table of the 2015 WSOP Europe Berlin Main Event was reached on Thursday.

MacPhee started Day 4 with 1.15 million in chips and finished with a massive stack of 5,015,000! As you can imagine he was doing extremly well at the poker tables on Day 4, and he was responsible for the elimination of Erik Seidel to set the official final table of six players.

Event #10: High Roller No Limit Hold'em kicked off yesterday. 62 players signed up for €25,600 each but, after 11 levels of 45 minutes each, the field had been narrowed down to 30 survivors.

21 of 313 players are still alive and kicking after three thrilling days of play at Spielbank Berlin. Young gun Dzmitry Urbanovich was out in front when Day 3 began, and he will return today for Day 4 with 414,000 in chips (11th place).

Polish poker prodigy Dzmitry Urbanovich will lead the remaining field of 65 players into Day 3 of the 2015 WSOP Europe €10,450 Main Event at the Spielbank Berlin. Urbanovich dominated the last levels of play on Day 2 after eliminating Georgios Karakousis with AA vs AK, and he bagged up 374,800 at the end of the night.

The WSOP Europe saw an American player win the prestigous Event #4 €1,650 No-Limit Hold’em Monster Stack on Wednesday after a 14 hour session.

Ryan Hefter was the last man standing and took home a goodie bag of €176,205 as the winner. Mr. Hefter is an amateur poker player residing in Poland where he works in finance. The United Kingom & Ireland Poker Tour stopped by Isle of Man between the 1st and 4th of October. UK's Dan Stacey took home the first prize of £24,170 after just 8 hours at the final table. The runner up was Paren Arzoomanian who offered Stacey an "even chop deal" which guaranteed both players £19,000 and left £5,170 to battle for. Stacey accepted and Arzoomanian was  defeted after the +4 hour long heads-up. Arzoomanian was holding a straight in the final hand but Stacey hit his full house on the river.

On Tuesday, Aaron Mermelstein took down his second WPT title after winning the World Poker Tour Maryland Main Event! Mermelstein, who won the WPT Borgata Winter Poker Open in January this year, bested a field of 337 runners and a final table that included two-time WSOP bracelet winner Greg Merson to bank $250,222 and a seat into the $15,400 buy-in WPT World Championship. He is the 25th person (Gus Hansen, Carlos Mortensen and Season XIII Hublot WPT Player of the Year Anthony Zinno etc.) to have scored two+ WPT titles.

The festival culminated with the $5,200 Main Event, which was played over three days for the first time in WCOOP history. Pokerfest, a tournament series with 80 events and a $2.5 million guaranteed prize pool, was supposed to start yesterday, but at the end of last week Partypoker announced that they had decided to postpone Pokerfest one month (Sunday, 25th October 2015) due to some performance issues following an update of the poker software. Partypoker will add a $50,000 freeroll to the Pokerfest schedule (date and time to be announced later on) as compensation for the inconvenience caused.
