The Main Event of IPT San Remo attracted 342 players when it began a couple of days ago. Yesterday the final table was played, and after many hours of poker the tournament finally had a winner.

It ended up being Marcello Antonio Caponetto from Italy who took home the tournament and grabbed the first place prize of €170,000. The total price pool was €663,480 and 48 players received a share from it.

A month ago John Racener, 24, was awarded with $5.55 million dollars for his second-place finish in the the world's biggest and most important live tournament, the WSOP Main Event. Now, he's risking to spend a year behind bars. On Saturday night, John Racener was arrested for drunk driving in his hometown Tampa in Florida. He was released the following day, after paying the bail of $1,000, but is still suspected of drinking and driving and also for refusing to leave a blood test to the police.

Not the first time
This is not the first time John Racener has been caught driving under the influence of alcohol. Racener was convicted for the first time back in 2005 and a second time in 2007. He was also convicted for assault last year.

Today it's time for the last stop on the EPT Tour for this year, EPT Prague. The first starting day of the EPT Prague Main Event is about to begin any minute now. The buy-in for the main event is €5000+€300 and EPT Barcelona winner Kent Lundmark is one of the most interesting pros that will take part. There will also be a high roller event with a buy-in of €1000+€300 that will be played over 2 days.

In Case You Missed It, the mystery swede Isildur1 signed with PokerStars a few days ago, and now the whole poker world is waiting for PokerStars to reveal his identity. When Isildur1, for first time as a Team PokerStars Pro, hit the poker tables the other day we got to watch him run over his opponents (theASHMAN103, urnotindangr, RealAndyBeal and a few other pros) and win a bit more than $300,000! In other words, an amazing start for him and extremly good PR for his sponsor, PokerStars.

Let's hope for more high stakes action at PokerStars this weekend! Hopefully, Isildur1 will be involved in some crazy games - just like back in the good old days. 

The challenge between Tom "durrr" Dwan and Daniel "jungleman12" Cates is moving forward slowly lately. However, they managed to play abut 1500 hands the other day and now they have played more than 11,000 hands. Durrrr was down about $800,000 against junglemen when the 1500 hand session started.

Finally the poker gods were on durrrr's side and he ended up winning $180,000 from jungleman12. In other words, durrrr is "only" down about $720k. Let's hope for some more action this week!

Antonio "The Magician" Esfandiari is the champion of WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic after a very thrilling heads-up match against Andrew Robl. This is how the final hand was played out.

Esfandiari raised to 800,000, and Robl quickly moved all in. Esfandiari called straight away with KJ. Robl showed Q10. Robl needed to win the pot to stay alive.

As we speak, Antonio "The Magician" Esfandiari and Andrew Robl are playing heads-up - battling it out for the first place prize of $870k. Both players have healthy stacks and it looks like it can take a few more hours before we have a winner. The blinds at the moment are 120,000/240,000 with a 20k ante. Esfandiari is in a slight lead with 9,495,000 chips against Andrew Robl's 8,160,000 stack.

Tom "durrrr" Dwan ended up losing over a million dollars last week. This week, however, has started in the best possible way as he won $357,000 last night from playing $300/$600 Pot Limit Omaha against different high rollers.

Unfortunately there is not much going on when it comes to the challenge against jungleman12. Jungleman12 asked durrrr if he wanted to play some hands yesterday, but durrrr "turned him down" and chose to play PLO instead.

Amazing news! The WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic is down to 15 players after a very interesting day that Antonio "The Magician" Esfandiari dominated. Esfandiari has accumulated 2,608,000 chips and his next closest competitor is John Racener, who started day 4 with only 137,000 chips, but ended the day with 1.9 million chips.

There are a few familiar faces left in the remaining field of players. However, the most interesting players to follow, except from The Magician and Racener, will for sure be Sorel Mizzi in 7th place with a 1,380,000 stack and Vanessa Rousso in 10th place with 888,000 chips.

Day 5 of the tournament will begin in a couple of hours. The tournament will continue until the six-handed final table is set. The first place pays $870,124, so one can expect a very exciting final table!

He said it in advance he was gonna get it, but eventually he had to give up. Tony G did not get a hold of Peter Eastgate's bracelet, which famously went under the hammer for the massive amount of $ 147,000.

In his most recent blog Tony G says, his bid was well over $ 100,000 but eventually he had to give up, since he after all has his limits. Tonight it's time for Day 4 of a WPT tournament called Five Diamond World Poker Classic at Bellagio, Las Vegas. 54 players of 439 have survived this far and it start getting really interesting. In the lead is no one else than Antonio "The Magician" Esfandiari with a 1,082,000 stack. On third place is Vanessa Rousso, who we will get an exclusive interview with, and not far behind is Freddy Deeb with a 654k stack.

There are plenty of interesting players in the remaining field of players. Doyle Brunson, Thor Hansen and Sorel Mizzi are just a few examples of poker stars who still have the chance of taking home the first place prize of $870,124. Vanessa Rousso really seems to be a person who sticks to what she says. A bit more than a year ago, she purchased a 2007 yellow Lamborghini Gallardo, a car which she had wanted to buy for a long time. 

When Vanessa showed her dream car to the media shortly after, she told one of the interviewers that she would only keep it for one year. The reason for this was that she had bought it for an amazing prize and the value of the car would almost be the same in one year. She said that it would be like having an amazing car 1 year for free.

Now, her car is for sale on Ebay. In other words, she seems to be a person who keeps her word, and also a person who holds tight to the money - even though she has won millions of dollars and has a very generous sponsor, PokerStars.

Daniel 'Jungleman12' Cates is one of the biggest high stakes comets at Full Tilt Poker, where he has come into focus after taking up the 'Durrrr Challenge'.

According to Ilari "Ziigmund" Sahamies latest blog update, it seems like he hasn't lost as much money as many poker sites have claimed in the past few months. We have heard of figures between 2-5 million dollars, but according to Ziigmund, who partly admits that he has lost a lot of money because of playing bad, he has lost about $1 million dollars. If this is true, it probably means that Ziigmund has been successful in different live games and maybe he's also playing with fake aliases on different poker sites?

Sebastian Homann from Germany totally dominated the Main Event of WPT Marrakech. Homann was in the lead from Day 1 of the tournament and remained in the lead until the final table was down to heads-up. The Frenchman Guillaume Cescut was the only player who managed to overtake the chip lead from the German. 

But it didn't take long before Homann got back into the game again. It was a lot thanks to him getting lucky in a big pot that Guillaume was big favorite to win. After this hand, he didn't let go of the lead again. It didn't take long before Homann had all the chips in front of himself and became €244,508 richer. The runner-up, Guillaume Cescut, got €135,831. We can only hope that the Frenchman will get over badbeat that most probably costed him over €100,000.

In Doyle Brunson's latest blog, Live as if you were going to die tomorrow, learn as if you were going to live forever, he shares some really sad news with his fans and the rest of the poker world - his sister took her own life last month.

He describes his only sister, Lavada Hale, as a very strong person all her life, but when she recently lost her eyesight due to glaucoma and related eye diseases, she became very depressed and decided to end her life as she couldn't stand the thought of living the rest of her life in darkness.
