Posted on 28 October 2015 by "T".

Theo Jorgensen has been playing EPT events since the very first season but not once been able to bring back a trophy to his home in Denmark... well, until yesterday that is! The Team PokerStars Pro decided to enter a €1,100 buy-in bounty event (€500 + €500 + €100 fee) last night and defeated 154 other entrants to lay hands on the €16,940 first-place prize, along within bounties and an EPT trophy!

"Only problem now is that I have to sleep with 2 covers on, since I still have goosebumps over how great I played this tourney," Jorgensen told his fans on Facebook following his victory.

The second day of the WPT Grand Prix de Paris main event saw a field of 228 players. It was a very slow day, with nobody really willing to put their entire stack at risk. On the final 30-minute level, five or six players had about 100k each and battled for the top spot.

High Stakes: $700,000 swing for Isildur1

Tags: ben sulsky, high stakes, isildur1, pokerstars, theo jorgensen
Posted on 22 August 2011 by "T".

The poker phenomenon Viktor "Isildur1" Blom was involved in some really thrilling games this weekend. For example: Blom played some shorthanded $100/$200 Pot Limit Omaha against Theo "TheoJ" Jorgensen, Jeans89, Ben "Sauce123" Sulsky and other regulars at PokerStars nosebleed tables. There were plenty of pots where more than $100k was up for grabs, and one 3-way-pot even exceeded $200,000 (below you can see how this hand was played out).

PokerStars signs WPT Paris winner Theo Jorgensen

Tags: team pokerstars pro, Theo Jorgensen, william thorson
Posted on 27 October 2010 by "T".

It's not long ago since William Thorson, the swedish poker pro, announced that he was leaving Team PokerStars Pro after 2 successful years. Now, about a month later, PokerStars announces that they have found someone to replace him. Theo Jorgensen from Denmark is PokerStars' new pro who will get to travel around the globe and play with the rest of Team PokerStars Pro - for free!

Thanks to some fantastic results at WPT, EPT and WSOP over the past few years, Theo Jorgensen has really created a name for himself in the poker world. For some of you, the alias "THEDONKEY01" might sound a bit familiar? That's no one else than Theo Jorgensen playing at the nosebleed tables online against some of the best poker players in the world.

Best of luck to Theo Jorgensen and his future with Team PokerStars Pro.

2010 WSOP Main Event: Theo Jorgensen in the lead (78 players left)

Tags: 2010, johnny lodden, main event, Theo Jorgensen, William Thorson, wsop
Posted on 16 July 2010 by "T".

205 players returned to Amazon Room at Rio Hotel & Casino to play Day 6 of the main event yesterday. At around midnight, the tournament crew called it a day and there were only 78 players remaining. In the lead is the danish poker pro Theo Jorgensen with 9,300,000, and almost 2 million in chips behind him are Michael Mizrachi and John Racener, both from USA.

Theo Jorgensen has played extremely well in the past few days and he has been advancing in the field every day. If you ask me, I think that he deserves to be where he is right now. I'm 100% sure he will make it to the final table if he continues playing this well. And who knows, maybe he will be the second dane ever to win a Main Event? Another player to watch out for is the PokerStars Pro William Thorson from Sweden. William has been running extremely well in live tourneys this year and I hope that he will be one of the 27 players who make it to the final day before the tournament goes on a break.

2010 WSOP Main Event: Day 5 is over. 21-year-old in the lead!

Tags: Breeze Zuckerman, Evan Lamprea, johnny chan, pokerstars, theo Jorgensen, wsop main event
Posted on 15 July 2010 by "T".

Day 5 of the 2010 WSOP Main Event finished about an hour ago. It was a super thrilling day with huge swings, at least for some of the players. Chip leader of the tournament is the PokerStars sponsored player Evan Lamprea, 21, with about 3,5 million in chips. Not far behind him are notables such as the danish poker pro Theo Jorgensen and also the poker legend Johnny Chan. Unfortunately only 1 woman made it through Day 5. Her name is Breeze Zuckerman (picture) and she will bring about an average stack to Day 6 of the tournament. Best of luck to her!

Ladies and gentleman, the 2010 WSOP Main Event start getting very exciting now! Tonight, 205 players will return to the tables to play Day 6 of the tournament. It's almost impossible to predict which players that will be in the top after this day comes to an end. We don't have any big chip leader(s) yet and most of the remaining players have decent stacks to work with.
