We all know that Barry Greenstein is one of heck of a poker player, both live and online. However, not everyone knows that he is very good at maths and that he used to be extremly good at computer science and golf!
The latter is something the 59-year-old Team PokerStars Pro wrote passionately about in his latest blog "My Golf Career". Barry wrote, for example, that he started playing golf at the age of 12 and that he won the caddy golf championship only 2 years laters. Check out the entire blog below to find out more (psst... there will be some stuff about Phil Ivey!).

Coming from the online arena onto the felt of live poker, one of the most drastic changes that you notice is the level of talking between players. Rarely does any hand pass without at least one of the players talking about something.
I've heard everything from pocket deuces vs Ten-Jack suited, talk of the latest signings of the local soccer team, to rants about the idiot that cut them off on the drive here.

Working at a busy casino in one of the UK's major cities understandably means that you get large amounts of rookie players making their first timid steps into the live poker world.
I enjoy it. To be honest, it's the only time when I'm dealing for players that are less knowledgeable about the game than I am. I make sure they use the right chips, play in turn and know the etiquette. I try and keep them safe, from the nefarious sharks circling them.

Ever wondered what it's like being a full-time poker player with millions of dollars in the bank account? Well, if you ever happen to run into Isaac Haxton, you better not ask him.
Earlier today Haxton, a member of Team PokerStars Online, uploaded a blog on the subject in question to pokerstarsblog. It's some great reading (and an interesting video from last fall where Haxton talks about his move to the island of Malta, Black Friday etc), so we wanted to share it with everone here on bankrollmob. Enjoy!
