The 2014 Aussie Millions Main Event will be a part of the PokerStars Asia-Pacific Poker Tour (APPT). The 16th annual Aussie Millions will run from January 23 to February 10 and features the $10,600 Main Event, a $25,000 event, a $100,000 event and a $250,000 event. The Main Event is scheduled for February 2-9 and it will be the second stop on the 8th season of the APPT.

Hedge fund manager and poker pro Dan Shak will be hosting the annual "All In for Kids" charity poker event on Thursday. The event will be held at the Mandarin Oriental in New York and will be filmed for national television and air as a part of a future World Poker Tour broadcast on Fox Sports Net.
In addition to wealthy CEO's, celebrities and athletes, poker pros including Vanessa Selbst, Mike Sexton and Phil Hellmuth will participate in the tournament. On Thursday, Day 1A of the World Poker Tour (WPT) Emperors Poker Classic Main Event ($3,600) kicked off.
