Yesterday the final table of the €5300 PLO event of WSOP Europe in the the LE Cannes Croisette Casino was set, and in a big lead was Sam Trickett who's won over $3 million dollars this year. But things didn't go so well for British poker pro on the final table and he quickly ran out of chips and was eliminated in 4th place - a very disappointing result for Sam Trickett and his fans.

After 9 levels of play in the LE Cannes Croisette Casino, the field of 180 players had been squeezed down to a final table with 9 players. In a big lead is no one else than Sam Trickett with 713,500 chips. Trickett, from UK, has had a fantastic tournament year with 2 big cashes at Aussie Millions in January, and in total he has won over $3 million dollars this year. If Trickett takes home this final table today, he will take home another €238k!
But it won't be a walk in the park for the British poker pro as there are some amazing players on the final table today. One player that most probably will be his toughest opponent though is Ramzi Jelassi from Sweden. Jelassi has been around the live tournament scene since 2005 and has managed to take down quite a few tournaments all over the globe.

Posted on 11 October 2011 by "T". |
On November 22nd it's time for the long-awaited boxing match between Lex Veldhuis and Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier. The winner of the match will take home amazing $100,000 - and a whole lot of prestige. This is what Lex Veldhuis, from Holland, had to say about the upcoming match...
"We are gonna fight, I want to knock him out, which will be a bit of a shock to him, it will really play with his mentality. I think the fight is gonna have something ElkY has never experienced before, the pressure of someone really wanting to hurt him badly. I know he has the drive, but I have the same personality which is why we do a lot of prop bets." Veldhuis said in an interview.

Last week the breaking news that Groupe Bernard Tapie (a French group of investors) and Full Tilt Poker signed an acquisition hit the poker world. The new owners said that they intend to pay back all players money as soon as possible. Yesterday, one could read in the Wall Street Journal that Full Tilt's new owners are looking at the possibilities to offer ownership shares in the company to pay off some of the liabilities to their players. Apart from that, Groupe Bernard Tapie might also offer the current owners continued investments in the company, however, they won't get any influence in the company's governance.

backbet, no deposit bonus, poker, titan poker.
Posted on 04 October 2011 by "M". |

Titan Poker has recently launched their new Back Bet promotion which makes it possible for you to place side bets on several different outcomes of your poker hand. This way you can raise your stakes and maximise your winnings. Titan Poker is offering special No Limit Hold’em tables in their poker client to host the Back Bet feature.
How does it work? You do need to be involved in the game in order to be able to side bet. Simply, take a seat at the table. As soon as you receive your cards a Back Bet icon next to the table will appear. Once you click the icon, a sidebar will open with all the betting options for the available Back Bet games. Your stake will be taken directly from your account balance - not from your table balance. The bet currencies go according to the table you’re playing on.
What can I bet on? Betting the board cards: Before the flop is drawn, you will be able to bet on your prediction of the community cards. Among the betting options you will find: - All black/red flop. - One card of a certain suit hitting the flop. - One card of 9 and above. - One card of Q and above. - One card of 4 and below, suited cards etc.
Betting on your next pocket cards: Place your bet and cash in on your prediction of your next pocket cards. The odds will appear before your cards are dealt. You have numerous bet options: pairs, blackjack, 2 high cards, 2 low cards, 2 face cards, suited and connecters.
Betting on the outcome of your folded cards: Even if you fold your hand you can still make a killing on betting on the outcome that hand. The options are many; bet that your hole cards and community cards will form a straight, on the turn, bet that one of your hole cards will form a pair with one of the board cards and much more.

The EPT London main event is down to 159 players after 2 days of play. Benny Spindler, who started day 2 in the lead, is the one who will return to the tables at midday (local time) with the largest stack (469k). Two years ago the young German came 12th in the EPT London main event, and the very same year he finished 3rd in PokerStars Caribbean Adventure. In other words, Benny Spindler is not a newcomer when it comes to doing well in big tournaments.

BankrollMob, casharena.com, free money, No deposit bonus, skills.
Posted on 26 September 2011 by "A". |

BankrollMob is proud to offer a new and exciting type of No Deposit Bonus to you. CashArena.com has taken the old penny auctions and pushed them in to a new level. For those of us who are not familiar with the old auctions, it's hard to understand the new - so let's see:
Penny auctions have gained more recognition in the past few years, and this is partly because the concept is simple enough. Old style penny auctions offer a high end item, such as a computer or smart phone, on auction at greatly reduced retail prices (usually the price starts at $0.01). Players then purchase bid packages containing a set number of bids. Bids usually cost less than a $1, thus the name “penny auction”. Players spend these bids in the auction. Each bid moves the price goes up (as in a typical eBay auction), but each bid also extends the closing auction time. The player who made the last bid when the timer runs out wins the auction and can purchase the product for a price much lower than retail value. You basically bid on the right to purchase the product at a reduced price, so you also need to factor in the cost of each bid that you spent to win the auction. Even so, the typical final winning bid results in extremely reduced prices for popular and pricey items. These types of penny auctions mainly appeal to people who like to shop and are keen on sales. While it requires a certain skill to win an iPad for a few dollars instead of hundreds, users must want to own the item they are bidding on, and also be prepared to pay for shipping.
CashArena.com have pushed penny auctions to a new level No longer do players need to wait for an item to go on auction that they want or need, nor do players need to bid on items they don’t want. Since you are bidding on cash amounts, cash penny auction players can focus more on their ability to play the game better than their competitors.
So, how does it work? Users purchase bids and then use them to place bids on cash auctions ranging from $10 to $250. When a user places a bid, the auction timer will go up by 15 seconds. When the timer goes below 15 seconds, the auction will never go above 15 seconds no matter how many bids are placed afterwards. The winner of the auction is the last bidder to place a bid on the auction when the auction reaches 0 and closes. As you place bids you can earn Coloritas. These can then be used to win more bids (which cost $0.70 a piece) or even cash amounts (up to $1,000!) by playing the Reward Games or Lowest Unique Game.
Reward Games: Every day there is a new Reward Game. You can convert your Coloritas to cash or bids. Each Reward Level has a starting level. When the auctions go live and bids are being placed, the amount you can convert will increase. When someone converts a Reward Game on a certain level, that level resets to the original starting point. At the end of the day when the auctions close, all levels are reset and new Colorita amounts will be needed to convert each level.
Lowest Unique Games: In the Lowest Unique Game, you can use your Coloritas to place a bid on the grid. The squares where you have enough Coloritas to bid will turn bold. When you place a bid, a check mark will appear on the square where you placed a bid. You can only place one bid per square. The square with the least amount of bids that is more than zero will be the winner. If there is more than one square with the lowest unique bid, then the prize will be split between the winners.
What about the exclusive No Deposit Bonus for BankrollMob members? Let's save the best for last, if you sign up at CashArena.com via BankrollMob you will get a $14 No Deposit Bonus. This free bonus will give you 20 bids to use and give you a good start to make your fortune!

According to many poker experts, Tom Dwan and Phil Ivey are two of the best cash game players in history. There are plenty of clips on youtube and other video sites where one can see Tom Dwan and Phil Ivey showing their skills at the poker tables.
However it's not very common that they face each other in huge pots, and especially not when neither of them have anything and decide to bluff. Below is a video with two of their best bluffs against each other. Enjoy!

Not less than 1,313 players ended up participating in the $3,5k main event of WPT Borgata Poker Open, which started 2 days ago, making it the largest tournament in WPT history. Now, both Day 1a and b are already in the books and Day 2 will start in a few hours.
Chip leader is Abe Korotkl with 260,100 chips, and in second place is no one else than Jeff Madsen with 216,925 chips (more info about him below). There are quite a few players with plenty of chips so, of course, anything could happen during Day 2 of the tournament. One thing is for sure though, a huge prize pool is up for grabs and the winner will take home stunning $922,441!
